The Saturn-type wants to bring about changes in structures, or in society, that help rid them of faults (as you see them), in order to make them more truly Saturnian, that is, to make them more correct, or more the way things ‘should’ be. If you have gone in this direction, you tend to see Saturn (structuring, correct thought/correct ideas/correct actions) as the most important part of day-to-day existence, while you see Chiron (opening doors, finding ways to heal, finding unique ways of doing things) as a tool to be used to benefit Saturn. If this is you, you may truly appreciate the virtues of the individual, but only as she/he can be utilized to improve life in some way without altering the basic scheme of things.

The Chiron-type wants to Chiron-ize Saturn, to bring about changes in the basic structures of things within society to bring about fairness, rectify imbalances, and open opportunities. If this is you, then you will use any conventional methods that may seem necessary to achieve your goals but will not restrict yourself only to them; any means that works will be justified. This family wound of feeling marginal may have hampered your ability to leave the enmeshed family unit. If you continue along this course you will still be confronted with Chiron throwing a wrench into the act, but you will see it as just one more new experience, or as a temporary setback. 3. You rise above your past wound, and learn to be adaptable. You learn to try new things, and learn to discriminate, so that you also know when the old methods are still valid.
