Another side of the wound is that you were made extremely sensitive about things being ‘fair’ or ‘unfair’. To some extent this is true, because no matter how giving you are you never feel it is enough.

But the flip side is that you are extremely vulnerable to being easily hurt, your love is given without strings or expectations, and perhaps without any defenses at all. It is, potentially, a very idealistic position.
