Joshua Michael Widdicombe (; born 8 April 1983) is an English comedian, presenter and actor. He is best known for his appearances on The Last Leg (2012–present), Fighting Talk (2014–2016), Insert Name Here (2016–2019), Mock the Week (2012–2016) and his BBC Three sitcom Josh (2015–2017). Widdicombe also won the first series of Taskmaster in 2015 and the show's first Champion of Champions special in 2017. Widdicombe also hosted Hypothetical with fellow comedian James Acaster (2019–2022). During the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, Widdicombe started the Parenting Hell podcast with fellow comedian Rob Beckett.

One very intriguing gift of this aspect is that it encourages you to develop an incredibly complete insight into the nature and activity of some particular type of person, or the workings of a particular philosophy. You can see how this profound understanding could be an asset to a teacher in specialized areas, or to an actor portraying very specific characters.

For you people, the search is on for some version of true reality, something beyond what the world around you perceives as the way things are. You do not accept the idea ‘this is the way things must be’, unless it comes from what you conceive as an indisputable source. And of course it is very rare that you can find such a source, all people being human/fallible, after all.
This aspect seems to work as almost a compulsion to seek truth, to seek the answers to whatever questions or problems you are concerned with. As a result, you can become extremely knowledgeable on a great many subjects, most especially, on the one particular topic that is your quest. On a negative level, you can become the very thing you cannot easily accept in others, you can come to consider yourself as an indisputable source. Even if you don’t actually perceive yourself this way, you can appear to other people as though they think that way. On a more positive level this aspect almost always leads you to become a figure of respect in your field even among those who don’t see eye to eye with you.
Chiron opposition Uranus
Between 1952 and 1989 Chiron exactly opposed Uranus forty-one times, and was in orb of opposition for just about everyone born during those 47 years. Thus, it is more of a generational influence than an individual one.
Historically, you can see that this aspect is tied into the accelerated pace of scientific advancement during the second half of the Twentieth Century. Actually, one of the problems is that science is making discoveries faster than they can be integrated into society; even faster than proper safeguards can be devised for our protection from side effects and from the discoveries themselves.
This same ‘vibration’ is, in many ways, a part of the nature of individuals who have this aspect. There is a thirst for the new, for discovery, for experiences, that often outweighs the taking of any precautions. Others dare not try to curtail your freedom, the consequences may not be pleasant. The urge for independence can be so strong that it can create difficulties in relationships. The only relationships that truly last for someone with this aspect is one where each person is given a lot of space to be themselves, in truth, it is difficult to find someone sufficiently secure to give a partner that much freedom. It does give a real spirit, though.
The wound of the whole generation, though, can be summed up in the words, ‘fallen heroes’. For thousands of years, people had heroes to worship, people to look up to as almost godlike. But this generation has seen all of its heroes fall, or show very unheroic sides, or in one way or another, prove they are just like everyone else. As a result, your generation has had a wound that each person must learn to heal in his/her own way, but the lesson is to become one’s own hero to become the person you would like to look up to and respect.
