If you have Chiron square Uranus you are part of a small, select group of people, born either between 1943–1944, or 1997–1998. It is not an easy aspect, can be a great deal of conflict in the life of anyone who has this aspect.

For one thing, you are always your own person never submitting to the dictates of others, a truly ‘one-of-a-kind’ individual. This does not sit well with many of the people you meet.

On a positive level you are an individual who will try something new, if it is important to you, even if you know it might bring ridicule. (Of course you would prefer acceptance, but you would much rather achieve success, or discover the truth, than worry about the opinions of others.)

On a negative level there is a danger that you might attach yourself to any guru or teacher who promises real fulfilment for you, who tells you they will show you your true purpose in life. You need to learn to constantly question rather than following a promise from an unreliable source.

This aspect shows that you are the type who will go off the beaten path to do what you need to do. You are able to look into things that are not ordinarily the province of your profession, or your vocation (although not completely alien, either).

This stems from some wound that made you feel you did not go far enough when trying to attack a problem, or did not go in the right direction. Someone in your developing years shaped within you a feeling that you had to do more, go further, try something different, because you just weren’t doing it right! You may end up going to extremes because there is a tendency to continue further down the path, diverging further away from standard acceptable practices. Thus, one of the lessons of this aspect is to know how far to go; to know when it is profitable to go off on a sideline, and when to stop. The danger here is that you can get trapped on this tangent, and not only be unable to return, but not see any necessity for returning. But once you sort out this situation, and learn the lessons, you come back with skills to help others turn around. The thrust of this aspect is usually aimed at pushing you into becoming a pioneer of one sort or another.

Another side of this aspect is an ability to discover incongruities in situations, as well as in the methods and motives used by other people.

Chiron square Midheaven

A square makes you easily dissatisfied with the ordinary circumstances of life. There are deep wounds connected with both parents (or whoever your authority role models were in childhood), as you were very sensitive to everything they said, as well as to any conflict or undercurrent of anger or dissension that passed between them. One parent, or perhaps both, made you feel you had little self-worth. You may have repeated memories of feeling let down by role models you looked up to. It may be because you were made to feel that you would never amount to something, or it may be that you were constantly made to feel that you must find the right career for yourself and nothing else would do,perhaps not having the right tools or knowledge needed to find this ideal profession.
