2. Learn part of the lesson. If this is the case, you learn the virtues of trying new methods, new ways of doing things, but not the ‘why’ of the lesson. You might begin to revel in each new method. You may seek out and try to experience every new act that can be found, every new experience and sensation that exists, perhaps even inventing brand new ones. If you continue along this course you will still be confronted with Chiron throwing a wrench into the act, but you will see it as just one more new experience, or as a temporary setback. Continued long enough, there is a danger of going to excess with destructive results.

3. You rise above your past wound, and learn to be adaptable. You learn to try new things, and learn to discriminate, so that you also know when the old methods are still valid.
