While we are more sophisticated today, the wisdom is the same; healing is possible when we engage in the mystery of the self and participate in understanding the contents of the unconscious. Chiron's placement is an indication you have the ability to know this truth, able to read symptoms and diagnose the heart of the discontent.

A serious disease or difficult prognosis is often the voice that calls us away from the course of an unreflective life into a more meaningful and soulful pathway. Chiron shows where one needs to focus on healing, and in many ways it can be said to show the hero’s journey, the dragons one must overcome in order to become whole.
