Birth Chart Report for Sooliman Snowy Radebe
Your Sun Sign
Sun in Capricorn
From the beginning of life you might have felt responsible, not just for yourself, but for the people and environment around you. With your Sun in Capricorn you have a heightened sense of what is right and wrong, even perhaps an over-developed sense of guilt. Like the mountain goat whose gaze is on the pinnacle of the mountain, your peak represents the summit of excellence always striving to reach the highest point in yourself. Being so acutely aware of what should be done and what constitutes an offence, you endeavour to always do the right thing, and can often feel inadequate or ill equipped to succeed. Nothing could be farther from the truth, and over the course of time your success is revealed through hard work, dedication and commitment. Time is your ally.
Most present-day portrayals of Capricorn suggest they play by the rule book. And this is true to a certain degree. Ultimately the rule book that you want to adhere to is your own, yet often you may end up with a weak authority figure steering the organisation in an impossible direction. One of the designs that often show up in the tapestry of your life is woven by a string of unskilled or inefficient authority figures- teachers, bosses, and managers, even paid professionals! Often you are more proficient with a higher level of comprehension of the job than your boss or service provider. This is your challenge to become your own boss and strive for excellence without the impediment of a system that does share similar values. Yet this takes time to figure out.
Time, quality, excellence and distinction are all hallmarks of your character. You know how to preserve and contain things of value. Responsibility is your great virtue. This suggests response-ability or the ability to respond. In other words you need to support yourself authentically from within, becoming the authority or author of your own life script, not living out of someone else's program. Capricorn is old in its wisdom, but youthful as well, since it has the time to grow into itself.
Your honourable traits such as commitment, dedication and perseverance help to support you in gaining autonomy from the system you feel bound to. You have a strong work ethic and integrity shaped by your innate responsibility to whatever you are doing or whomever you are with. Therefore you are never free of a system, but hopefully free from the systems that no longer support or acknowledge you. In this way you are freer to pursue your own vocational path and not one already earmarked for you. It is important for you to be self-reliant but not exclusively so, as you also need to be responsible to something in the world, be it a project, a task, a baby, a book! Therefore it is not uncommon for you to find yourself as the managing director of your corporation, the president of your golf club, the principal of your school or at the top of the ladder. But your satisfaction comes not from being the supervisor of others, but by being the boss of yourself. Having learnt the lesson of inner authority and personal responsibility you can be liberated enough to feel acknowledged within the system. To find your vitality and spirit and to feel soulful in the world, you need to strive to be committed, reliable and respectful of tradition. Your efficiency, practicality and work ethic are your guiding lights.
Your Moon Sign
Moon in Leo
You were born with the Moon in Leo, the sign ruled by the Sun. Astrologically this suggests the great need to be able to reflect your own creativity and spirit through what you do. Who you are and what you do need to be intertwined in your experience bringing yourself expression and certitude to what you do. Therefore you might find yourself drawn to professions that allow you to be as expressive and creative as you need to be or careers where the products are your designs, ideas or creations. However, this also suggests an intensity and warmth of character. Innately you can light up a room and make others feel better about themselves. You are passionate and playful and you will seek to find both these characteristics in your life.
From an early age you might have recognised your urge to perform and to make the right impression. In your own mind you might have been a celebrity, as your soul is drawn to celebrating life. To care for soul your mood needs to be positive and upbeat. The identification and use of personal talents and originality is important. Having your identity a central part of your vocation is necessary, even if you are helping or serving others. Your creativity needs to be identified and demonstrated.
If you are called to the nurturing professions then your Moon in Leo is adept at helping to heal the inner child whether caring for children or in a creative capacity, like art therapy, sand play, child psychology etc. However your great capacity for nurturing comes through your playful ability to be just who you are and radiate warmth, light and laughter.
Your Rising Sign
Ascendant in Aries
Your destiny is to actively seek your purpose in life, taking the initiative rather than waiting until circumstances are comfortable. This may come easily to you if other aspects of your Birth Chart (and therefore personality) support this goal. However, this may be a challenge if part of you often prefer comfort and security. Your Ascendant in Aries denotes enterprise, enthusiasm, self-assertion and initiative. You are likely to experience more satisfaction throughout life if you can incorporate these qualities. You need to be frank, pioneering, headstrong and self-reliant. You revel in anything that enables you to take the initiative, avoiding following other people's lead in preference for striking out into new territory. You value challenges, particularly those that test you physically and mentally. It's likely that your purpose is linked to taking the initiative, starting something new that benefits other people. Your intellect is keen, and you're full of ideas. All of these traits can propel you on a journey which is meaningful and of true worth. Money does not provide you with happiness. If you seek projects for the sake of making money only, then you are likely to become dissatisfied with your work, profession and perhaps with life. It is important with this Ascendant that you continue to seek new challenges, rather than stay in a situation because it provides material comfort only. Your soul wants to soar. Money may provide you with the freedom to experience life to its fullest potential, but you must ensure that you move forward when you hear that still small voice calling. Meditation may help you slow down long enough to listen to your true calling. If you would like to focus on a positive affirmation connected to money then with your Aries Ascendant you could use this one from “Creating Money – Keys to Abundance”by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer “I change the world around me by changing myself”.
Planets in Signs
Mercury in Sagittarius
The planet Mercury in the zodiac sign of Sagittarius indicates that you're a born philosopher, enjoying any information which helps you see the big picture. You don't like getting caught up in the details of everyday life, preferring a more grandiose picture. You can often be found at the hub of any project which requires a vision for the future, as long as you can leave the details to someone else. You enjoy religion, as long as it incorporates all religious viewpoints and people from all walks of life. For you can't tolerate intolerance. You enjoy talking to people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, and of all ages, as this gives you the feeling that the world is your oyster. You also enjoy studying, whether it be in the halls of academia or the halls of life. You're a seeker of knowledge. At some stage in your life, you may also enjoy teaching others. Astrologically speaking, the planet Mercury is considered to be in detriment in the sign of Sagittarius. This means that you must be wary of becoming too grandiose and idealistic in your thinking. While the big picture is important, it's also important to slow down and attend to the details in life.
Venus in Aquarius
With Venus in the sign of Aquarius you're a social being by nature, enjoying friendships with people from all walks of life. This of course depends on other influences in your chart, which may indicate a preference for solitude. However, on the whole you're likely to flourish in groups of people because you make friends so easily. In other words you're a real party animal. You love to organise social events with your friends, and often receive invitations to various social events. You're the sort of person who talks to the person sitting next to you on the bus, easily striking up a conversation with a total stranger. Whether introverted or extraverted by nature you're particularly interested in sharing cultural and intellectual pursuits with your friends. It's important that you've the freedom to pursue your many friendships, and attend your group and social functions, otherwise you become restless and bored, and consequently rebellious. For these reasons your primary partner in life needs to be someone who is intellectually stimulating and who understands your social butterfly urges, giving you plenty of room to spread your wings. You may find yourself attracted to unusual people, and possibly choose a partner, who's out of the ordinary.
Mars in Sagittarius
The planet Mars in the sign of Sagittarius indicates that you have a strong desire for exploration and adventure, anything which adds to excitement in life and teaches you more about yourself and the world. Therefore your travel itinerary is often full, or you're full of plans for future travels. You're happy to take risks and travel to unknown shores. The halls of learning also hold a great attraction helping you expand your ideas and knowledge. You are enthusiastic and passionate in your approach to life and can be an inspiration to other people. You could just as easily find yourself in the role of teacher or student. You're not afraid to speak your mind, and in fact you have firm ideas on many subjects. This can be quite a challenge to other people, until they realise that you're very accepting of other people's ideas and also enjoy the challenge of a good argument. You have an energetic approach to life that can also be channelled into sports, particularly those which involve risk-taking and adventure. You may also be interested in religion, law or military pursuits.
Jupiter in Virgo
You've the planet Jupiter in the zodiac sign of Virgo in your birth chart indicating that you have a strong desire to be of service to humanity in a practical manner because you're a methodical and matter-of-fact person. It's not that you don't have high religious or spiritual ideals, because you do. It's simply that you're prudent and down-to-earth in the manner in which you would like to see these ideals manifested. You've a materialistic view of life and are adept at working towards your goals. You're likely to rise above your station in life through success in business, speculative dealings, gains through investments and professional recognition. You're cautious and not easily influenced by other people. In fact you're very careful in your choice of acquaintances, and count very few people as your friends. However, those who can count you as a friend are indeed fortunate because you're discreet and loyal. It is possible that your friends are students of occult studies. When you travel it is more likely to be for business than for pleasure, reflecting the practical side of your nature. In some forms of astrology the planet Jupiter is considered to be in an ill-favoured position in the sign of Virgo, meaning that you should be wary of being too smug and covetous of the material side of life.
Saturn in Cancer
The planet Saturn in the sign of Cancer signifies that although you work hard to achieve your objectives in life, you suffer from feelings of discontentment. Sometimes you even feel jealous of all that other people seem to have. These mixed emotions can prompt you to change your aims, which can result in frequent changes of mood, pursuits and residences. You can become quite resentful if you feel that other people are standing in your way, putting up obstacles to your latest change of heart. As a result you can sometimes feel quite isolated from other people, and also quite revengeful and deceitful. You need to be wary of feelings of suicide. The reason for your struggles, astrologically speaking, is that the planet Saturn is considered to be in detriment in the sign of Cancer. On a brighter side you do have the ability to overcome this side of your nature and to aim towards emotional satisfaction at work and home. You need to make sure that the vengeful and restless side of your nature is kept to a minimum, and to be honest with yourself and other people. In this way you can slowly and surely work towards achieving a happy home and workplace.
Uranus in Gemini
The planet Uranus was in the sign of Gemini from 1942 - 1949. It's important to note that Uranus spends a long time in each sign, and therefore the interpretation applies to a generation rather than the individual. For a more individual interpretation you need to look at the house position of Uranus in your chart. Uranus in the sign of Gemini indicates that you belong to a generation which becomes focussed on new forms of communication and the world's networks. This generation is responsible for original and inventive ideas which change the world's communication network. Your creativity soars when you're tackling these issues.
Neptune in Libra
The planet Neptune was in the sign of Libra from 1942 - 1957. It's important to note that Neptune takes about 164 years to make a complete cycle, spending about thirteen years in each sign, and therefore the interpretation applies to a generation rather than the individual. For a more individual interpretation you need to look at the house position of Neptune in your chart. Neptune in the sign of Libra indicates that you belong to a generation possessing the ability to view human relationships from a more spiritual overall viewpoint, rather than the rules and regulations of the previous (Virgo) generation. It's during this time that some confusion over right human relations may reign. People of this generation will aim to achieve a balance in human relationships. You'll also be concerned with justice.
Pluto in Leo
The planet Pluto was in the sign of Leo from 1939 - 1957. It's important to note that Pluto takes about 248 years to make a complete cycle, spending 12 - 32 years in each sign, and therefore the interpretation applies to a generation rather than the individual. For a more individual interpretation you need to look at the house position of Pluto in your chart. Pluto in the sign of Leo suggests that you belong to a generation of people concerned with the lack of or acquiring of power. People of this generation have the ability to use power both positively and negatively. World power and leadership are also important issues for these people.
Chiron in Libra
Throughout your life, personal relationships will bring you opportunities to heal, even though there may be some pain involved in this process and some relationships will be wounding. You will probably come to know yourself and others very well and be a keen observer of human nature. It is primarily via relationships that you will come to know more about yourself.
Relationships are likely to be a catalyst towards a conscious examination of your own patterns. You may be an only child, adopted, come from a large family, or for some other reason experience an overwhelming sense of aloneness. This causes you some pain, but it is also a source of comfort. Because you find relationships to be a painful experience, you may tend to avoid them and prefer to be on your own. At the same time, you have a highly idealised idea of what a relationship constitutes. You have high standards that others may be unable to easily meet.
Often it is the same qualities that attract us to people, that we later discover are characteristics we find the most difficult to handle. You may encounter people and develop relationships with those who are very wounded. You may try to heal them, playing the role of therapist. Trying to heal the people with whom you share personal relationships, can create problems.
Rather than always trying to heal others, perhaps you also need to consider undertaking therapy yourself. Your gifts as a counsellor or therapist will be utilised much more effectively when you embrace your own healing journey.
Planets in Houses
Sun in 10th house
In your 10th house you have the Sun. Solar occupations have been traditionally linked with speculation and risk-taking in entrepreneurial business ventures. While the Sun is not psychologically associated with risk, except perhaps the risks of self-discovery, the Solar sphere of the 5th house rules speculation and gambling and conjures up images of commodity traders, promoters, stock exchange personnel, investment bankers, high risk investors.
Solar qualities of leadership and fathering are connected with authoritative and executive positions. The Sun represents vocations that father and foster others, and with the Sun in the 10th house leadership is part of the career path; hence positions such as foremen, presidents, magistrates, community leaders, business managers, instructors, principals and team directors are reflective of the Sun shining through the 10th house. On a personal level the need for the personal father's approval may be high and this could be unconsciously transferred onto superiors in the workforce when father's approval feels lacking or is withheld. Father may also be influential in the choice of vocation; this is not always conscious, as father's unlived professional life may be cast a shadow over your own career path.
The Sun is also linked to entertainment professions, amusements, self-improvement, creative expression or careers involved relating to an audience. Acting, the theatre, the performing arts, motivational training, teaching, sales, advertising and promotions are all consistent with the urge to express the self. This also could manifest in careers involving amusement centres, or professions which deal with leisure and recreation. The Sun is also the natural ruler of the 5th house, suggesting working with children and children's products. A wide range of careers would fit this category such as teachers, child counsellors, children's recreation or amusement, children and educational toys, children's wear etc.
Of all the planetary types, the solar type is one of the most difficult to typify. However, you need to enjoy what you do and feel personally identified with your vocation. There is a strong affinity with creativity and a need to be acknowledged and congratulated for your creative endeavours. Ultimately what is important is that you are able to identify with your career and be able to place your creativity and yourself at the heart of what you do.
Moon in 5th House
All child-like qualities are the focus of your life during this phase - fun, playfulness, natural creativity, romance and joy. It is time to dance with the fairies, picnic outdoors in meadows of flowers and under the sun, play at the beach or simply watch a romantic movie. Whatever your chosen activities, you now experience an urge to discover people and activities that give you joy. During this process you may attract children, and perhaps even lovers, who teach you about the lighter side of life. You may be drawn to working with children voluntarily or as part of your profession. Family members may call on you to care for their children. Right now you enjoy the spontaneity and free spirits of youngsters. You may even decide that the time is right to give birth to a child of your own. On the other hand you may give birth to a new creative idea or project. This phase can be highly productive if you are involved in an artistic field. Theatre, music, dance, art, sculpture, or design work may hold a particular appeal and benefit from your creative input under this influence. It is important that you do not shirk your responsibilities during this phase, but rather try to weave more joy into your daily life. The sign of your progressed Moon will also show you the area of your life most likely to be affected by this new joyful you!
Mercury in 9th House
The Messenger of the Gods is in the House of the Gods. As such your likely to experience a leap of faith during this period. This could mean that you experience a transcendental moment in your life, something that inspires you to take up a spiritual or artistic lifestyle. On a more practical note you may decide to travel, enter into academia or become involved in an international or multi-cultural cause. At first you may simply find yourself drawn to material (reading or media) that stretches your mind and interests. Gradually though you are likely to want to learn more, and perhaps change your life as a result. This is a period in your life where you can focus on the bigger picture rather than worrying about small details. The world news rather than local affairs is likely to attract your attention. If you are spiritually inclined then you may like to think of this as a time during which you can "feed your soul". It is certainly a period during which you can discover meaning and purpose in your life.
Venus in 11th House
The focus gradually shifts to your friends and social interests during this phase. If you are single then you are likely to enjoy this time whether partying with friends, or taking part in quieter or more serious pasttimes. If you are married then communication is the key to you being able to pursue your own hopes, dreams and wishes without jeopardising the intimacy of your primary relationship. Perhaps you could both share some new interests, or agree to pursue activities of your own. A strong relationship is likely to thrive on the renewed stimulation that comes from external sources. If you have been living a more independent lifestyle then you may find your focus shifting to groups, clubs and causes that require you to work more closely with others. The idea is that external stimuli from friends, clubs and community can provide much pleasure during this phase.
Mars in 9th House
Your spirit of adventure is likely to increase as the energetic planet Mars progresses into the expansive 9th House. During this period you are likely to seek activities that broaden your mind and open up new fields of possibilities. You may embark on a journey into new territory, learning much from your adventures. On the other hand you may begin an emotional or intellectual journey closer to home, exploring the expansive of the heart and mind. This is your time to focus on anything and anyone who lifts your spirit.
Jupiter in 6th house
Expansive Jupiter has taken up residence in your 6th house. In this house Jupiter needs to find a way to use its optimistic and passionate nature regularly and integrate its search for meaning and into your lifestyle. One important way is to experience significance and spirit in your everyday routines. Hopefully that can be through work, but if not, then it is important that you are able to access this through a spiritual exercise, an interesting hobby or stimulating studies. This archetype seeks purposeful and worthwhile occupations. Vocationally this suggests you are drawn to those arenas of work that will support this quest.
One of these ways is through education. You may be drawn to the world of teaching, as you have an innate desire to share knowledge with others. You need work to enthuse and inspire you to help you move away from the constrictive attitudes of your past. You need to find spirit in what you do or you become restless and excessive. You question and consider communal ethics, political policies, social parameters and cultural mores; therefore whether you are drawn to the fields of political science, ancient history or foreign languages you are motivated by the desire to discover things outside your comfort zone. You want to stretch and expand and live a lifestyle where you are touched and inspired by learning what exists outside the box. Therefore work is the vehicle that helps you see the world.
Travel may be an aspect of your work, even working in a foreign country. Whether you work in the travel industry, with foreign trade or your job requires contact with overseas you need to interact with the wider world in the everyday. However, you do not physically travel to be engaged with cross cultural and exciting meaningful employment. Therefore you may also work with others from exotic ethnic backgrounds, different educational histories, unfamiliar religious convictions, differing sexual orientations, imported ideas or goods, foreign policies or strange beliefs. All these introduce you to the unknown and help to introject meaning into your everyday. You need to feel your work is always growing, filled with possibilities and that you are engaged with making a difference.
Once you believe in something you have the keenness to be able to engage others with the ideas you are fervent about. Hence you are good at sales, being able to interest others in products or processes that you believe in. You are able to advertise and market what you know will make a difference. And you can turn this trait to instructing and helping others improve their well being and their lifestyles. Since Jupiter is a social planet its energy might inspire you to be involved in communal and societal concerns to improve our ecological, moral and religious attitudes and awareness. Whether you are able to find the exuberant spirit on the footy field, in an ashram, travelling or studying, you need to access the abundant energy of Jupiter in your everyday working life. Without it you will find yourself chasing down the next fad that might offer enlightenment or obsessing about ways to become healthier.
Saturn in 3rd House
The planet Saturn progresses slowly through the Zodiac and so it is significant when it moves from one area of your chart to another. The good news is that you have spent many years building your personal resources and self-worth. Now you can gradually implement some of your ideas, and express your opinions. You may slowly discover an interest in a subject that requires serious concentration. You need to overcome any inhibitions when it comes to expressing yourself. Relationships with siblings and neighbours need some serious consideration. It is time for you to hold your own counsel, but at the same time if you are unable to do so then you need to seek help from elders or professionals.
Uranus in 2nd house
Ultimately wealth and independence are entwined and when you are self-reliant you feel affluent. With Uranus in your 2nd house it is important to be aware that your approach to money and possessions could be quite unconventional, as this planet is known for its rebelliousness and nonconformity. This planet also signifies unpredictability and surprises. In the 2nd house this could suggest sudden changes of fortune. Therefore it would be important to consider how you might bring your unique skills and specialised talents to your career path in order to feel more comfortable on the wheel of fortune. You might forge your own independent route choosing to make your living outside convention or in an unconventional way. Or it could also suggest working in an environment that is futuristic, cutting-edge or ahead of its time. Another possibility is that you might find that you earn your income in a humanitarian way, working to improve the human condition or the state of the earth. Whatever road you take into the world of work, it needs to be a road less travelled.
Finding your own distinctive path that has not been trampled upon suggests that you will need to tap into your uniqueness and inventiveness. You are ingenious and can use your imagination to forge your way. Vocationally you are well suited to fields of endeavour that are unusual, ones that have not even been thought of yet. Therefore you are comfortable being on the edge of change, helping forge new directions and advancements. A career in technology might suit especially if you are helping revolutionise attitudes to work or helping create solutions for the future. Or politics is another sphere where you can use your vision and your protest to create change. Revolutionising the human experience is also akin to this astrological statement. Therefore whether you are attracted to science or the liberal arts, you feel the need to help advance human understanding and equality. You have an altruistic streak that needs expression in your vocation.
Uranus in the 2nd also reveals your attitudes towards money and possessions. Again this may be unusual or at least out of the ordinary. Your attitudes to material assets and financial security may fluctuate and change considerably. Or you might also unexpectedly receive money. It is important to consider your attitudes to money as they might be unconsciously contributing to financial worries. Ironically you need money to help you feel independent; therefore it is in your best interest to find ways to make this possible. You might find you have an uncanny knack at picking the right shares, making astute investments or being clever at financial planning. Reflect on original ways to make money. You have an inventive streak, which is a resource. Discover how this might work best for you. Ultimately you have the ability to be detached from the material world. This is important as this helps you feel relaxed and confident that you have enough resources.
Neptune in 6th house
Planets in the 6th house represent traits that need to be accessed regularly and integrated into your lifestyle. You have Neptune in the 6th house; therefore you may not have a clear conviction of work or what you would like to do. Work may feel mysterious, unknown, not formed. This might be due to your expectations and idealism; however, the truth is probably that you create your work and lifestyle as you go. Your work picture is slowly developed over time. You are able to sense and imagine what you want to do, but it takes time for that to become real. Since Neptune is not well suited to the 6th house, you are given an important task this lifetime. Neptune's nature is to be uncontained, unformed, fluid with no boundaries, yet the 6th house is a house where order and ritual are important. Therefore the task is to find a way to integrate the creative spirit that wants to be spiritual and transcendent with the everyday tasks of productivity and work. In a perfect world your everyday and your spiritual work are aligned in the jobs you do.
There are two ways this might be possible. The first is the creative sphere where the magical aspect of Neptune can be staged or given a canvas or a screen to project its vivid images onto. With Neptune in this house you can tap into its boundless imagination to produce moving and inspirational works of art. The medium is your choice. Whether it takes the form of film, dance, acting, painting, writing, music or any other, you can be sure the muse will show up. The second outlet is the helping professions. With solid training, good boundaries and focus you have an innate ability to tap into the compassionate and empathetic sides of yourself to help others in need. Both paths are fed by the innate urge to be of service. This is a spiritual calling and in the midst of the 21st century you are compelled to find the spiritual in the everyday, the sacred in the mundane. This is a difficult task in a corporate world, but not impossible. One of the main focuses of your work is to bridge what is ideal with what is possible. Therefore you may be in a variety of positions where you must navigate between the world of the imagination and the world of work.
The everyday world of work with its guidelines, routines, procedures and protocol may not be an easy fit for the aspect of your nature that is otherworldly. Therefore it is necessary to honour this aspect of yourself through hobby or other ritual. In this way you can appease the soulful need to do creative work even when you may be occupied in a soulless job. Whether you paint, take dance lessons, sing in a choir, write poetry or fiction, meditate or bush walk it is necessary that you revere the spiritual and creative aspects of yourself. When it lacks expression it subtly finds its way into consciousness through fatigue, lethargy, loss of concentration and forgetfulness. Physically Neptunian ailments are hard to diagnose, as they belong to the soul not the body. Therefore spiritual work is the way to remain well. Always, it is important to recognise that when the pressures of work are overwhelming, find a sanctuary where you feel still and balanced.
Pluto in 5th House
The planet Pluto is in the 5th House of your birth chart indicating that you've a powerful need to express yourself creatively. This could be through an artistic project, a unique talent in your field of work, or a hobby. It's likely that a hobby might command so much of your time and energy that it threatens to impinge on other areas of your life. You might choose to make your hobby your career so that you can further pursue your talents. Children may present difficulties in your life. You may have difficulty having children of your own, or you could discover that their demands are impinging on your creative activities. As you a result you struggle to find the right balance between spending time with your children, and spending creative time on your own. You need to be careful of being too dominating in your behaviour towards children. You should also be wary of becoming involved in love affairs, which could become obsessive.
NorthNode in 4th House
Your North Node is in the 4th house with the South Node being in the polarity of the 10th house. In your horoscope this is the axis that brings the private world and public life into focus. As an astrological opposition this alliance contrasts the inner and outer worlds and forces you into finding a meaningful balance between the two throughout the course of your life. Your natural tendency might find it easier to be in the world, be public and involved with your career path; however this astrological statement highlights the importance of the inner and private world. Hence a career theme might be the ongoing encounter between the stress of the outer world and finding enough time and space to engage with the demands of the inner world. In real terms this might be the tug of war between the career and the family, outer achievements and inner peace or the feeling of being successful versus the feeling of being settled.
Destiny points to the need to consciously create a strong and secure base before launching yourself professionally. It is important to recognise where your foundations stones are, as you will need a strong rock to build your career upon. Interestingly the effort placed in stabilising yourself, delving into your feelings and maintaining a supportive family life will promote your vocation. Ironically your outer world opens its arms to you as make the effort to develop your inner nature. Literally this might also suggest being successful at a career involving family, such as a family business, working from home or the promotion of familial products or values. Another variation on this theme might be real estate, home wares, or even a nurturing profession. However fate weaves her pattern the two threads of career and family are in the forefront of the fabric. In your case it is important to understand that innately you have a successful relationship with the world and what it has to offer when you are able to concentrate on building your nest and family life.
Chiron in 6th house
Chiron is in your 6th house. While not categorised astronomically as a planet, astrologers are very aware of its profound significance and proclaim its need to be accessed regularly and integrated into your lifestyle. Therefore it is highly likely that the dynamics of wounding and healing will play a role in your job. Literally this may describe one of many healing occupations, especially the holistic healing professions. Ancient medicine had both a rational and a magical approach to health, reflected today in biomedicine and complementary or alternate medicine. Chiron is the originator of the healing arts which unite physical, mental and spiritual approaches to healing. Therefore with Chiron in your 6th you may be involved in traditional medicinal practices, or in some capacity with disciplines like naturopathy, homeopathy, herbalism, chiropractic healing, Feldenkreis, osteopathy, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, crisis counselling, shamanism, dream therapy, psychotherapy, Reiki, astrology or other modalities that work with imagery and symbols as a healing tool. Probably you have always understood the subtle amalgam of mind and matter or wounding and healing. Fate has led you to work with mysterious and subtle form of energy in healing the mind and body as well as compelled you to incorporate this in your daily work caring for either people, or animals.
One of the ways you may have been led into your work is through your own suffering or experience. Through understanding something for yourself on a deeper level you are able to work with others in the same predicament. You may not literally have the wound or scar, but somewhere deep inside you understand the nature of disease and healing. Therefore you could also find yourself working in the health field with those recovering from addictions or trauma or in social work with refugees or displaced and disenfranchised individuals. Chiron was also a mentor and teacher and therefore is connected with mentoring professions such as life coaches, mentors, and inspirational teachers, or simply tutors and teachers who are dedicated to their students.
It is important to honour the aspect of yourself that does not fit into the system. You might be required to work in a structure, a system, an organisation, which you find difficult. Therefore it is important to note that the influence of Chiron in your professional work may be that you feel marginal to the system you work in, or on the periphery of your professional associations. Ironically you are not. But you understand something beyond the system and outside the radar and will not compromise your own understanding. While you might feel foreign to the system you work in, there is a lot of freedom in that. You may actually be a foreigner in the work system. This could manifest in a variety of ways; however it does, it is most important to celebrate your differences and use them to your advantage, not turn it against yourself with feelings of not belonging. Work, service, wounding and healing are intimately bound together in your work destiny.
Nodes
NorthNode in Cancer
You were born with the North Node in Cancer and the South Node in Capricorn implying that you are self reliant and disciplined, having inherited an innate sense of autonomy and authority. You are well suited to being responsible and adept at authoring the script of your own life. While you are very comfortable being on your own, providence pulls you in the opposite direction. Destiny waits in the opposite sphere of family and attachments and therefore your life path will challenge you to consider the importance of family, close attachments and bonds with loved ones. You need to be aware that the success of your vocation involves interdependence with those you love and protect. Your invitation is to stay close to home in order to be fulfilled. Therefore the dragon you battle is your own autonomous nature which can lead you into making executive decisions without consulting others. What works best for you is using your authority and innate leadership to direct others, especially those less skilled and more vulnerable than yourself.
Having inherited a strong tradition, you are in the position of initiating others into feeling that they belong, whether that is as a parent to your child, a counsellor to your client or a helper to a person in need. Vocationally your task is supported when there is a safe and secure work environment, preferably one in which you are in control. There is a preference towards a family environment and therefore you may attempt to transform your work environment into a familial one enveloping your work mates with concern and care. Familial issues are often involved in your vocation; an environment that has an extended family atmosphere, a family business, working from the home, following the vocational traditions and customs, especially on mother's side, or even vocations focused on family dynamics and issues. The North Node in Cancer is drawn to vocations which involve the family and its dependants: family care providers, family therapists, early childhood educators, day care workers, home services, all the domain of this nurturing sign. As long as you find an outlet for your sensitive feelings at work, you will feel fulfilled.
Building emotional and financial security in your vocation is very important. Both are interconnected and the more emotionally connected you are to your vocation; the more financially secure you feel. Emotional security in your personal life is a necessity in order to excel in the world, the greater the support systems the wider your playing field becomes. As long as these needs are fulfilled, and you feel emotionally supported and acknowledged there is no need to seek acknowledgement in the world beyond. But the trick is to let others support and nurture you.
Aspects
Sun Square Neptune
This is a confusing time during which you cannot fully comprehend the events in your life. Perhaps you are feeling a sense of loss right now, as well as the confusion. On the other hand you may be seeing a more spiritual thread in your life, helping you understand events. Subtle energies are at play right now. You would be wise to go with the flow. Clarity will come later.
Sun Hard Neptune
Your lack of confidence is likely to stand in your way in achieving your life goals. This is because the Sun is making a difficult aspect to the planet Neptune in your birth chart. You're a sympathetic and kind person, but you're apt to be overwhelmed by the injustices of the world. As a result you lose sight of your goals and become confused about your direction. It's also possible that you allow other people to tell you how to live your life. You're so eager to please others, that you find it difficult to assert your own rights and beliefs. At times like these you may benefit from moments of quiet reflection, or meditation, which enable you to develop an ability to rely on your own inner resources. It's possible that your confusion stems from childhood experience with your father, or a father figure. Perhaps this person was weak or ill and unable to support your development, or perhaps the death or absence of a father strongly influenced your life. Either way the result is that you've difficulty finding a firm footing on which to base your life as an adult. Your challenge is to learn to trust your own intuition, and to use your artistic and sensitive nature for the benefit of other people without losing yourself.
Sun Hard Uranus
The Sun is making a difficult aspect to the planet Uranus in your birth chart indicating that you're impulsive and determined to be an individual. You want to do things your own way and will dig in your heels if anyone tries to stop you. You've the ability to be a unique and original leader, but you need to be wary of letting your impatient and excitable nature stand in the way of you achieving your life goals. If you're not careful you're easily embroiled in various dramas over perceived or, in some cases, real injustices. This could range from a minor conflict with a sales person or major battles with authorities. This tendency to clash with other people probably originates from your childhood relationship with your father or a father figure. It's likely that you were a wilful child, who liked to have the freedom to learn through experience rather than through parental advice. Of course the extent of your rebellion depends on other influences in your chart. You may have clashed with a strong-minded male parental figure, either through head-on conflict or passive lack of co-operation. Possibly the loss, or absence, of a strong male during your childhood meant that you were given too much freedom and lacked appropriate parental guidance. It's also possible that in your mind you feel that you were not given enough freedom. Given your need for individual freedom, you may have felt trapped. Either way, as an adult, you struggle to curb a tendency to lash out whenever someone else or circumstances appear to stop you getting or doing what you want. This can result in a feeling of being isolated or separated from loved ones or society. However, it's more likely that your own wilful nature is preventing you from achieving your goals in life. You need to find the right mix of respecting your own original identity and the needs of other people. Once you've achieved this balance then you're free to pursue your unique talents, and to succeed in reaching your goals.
Sun Hard Pluto
The road to achieving your life goals is going to be tough because the Sun is making a difficult aspect to the planet Pluto in your birth chart. On a positive note you're a powerful and ambitious person, who enjoys rising to a challenge. You enjoy tackling difficult tasks, particularly the projects which other people have put in the too-hard basket. You're likely to succeed where others have failed, but the path will be strewn with obstacles. It could be circumstances which stand in your way. Perhaps your childhood was difficult, failing to provide you with the support needed for a successful adult life. It's possible that a dominant father figure blocked your success, perhaps even abusing himself or you in the process. As a result you're likely to experience strong emotions, possibly anger, when you reflect on your experiences. You can be explosive and unpredictable and have trouble controlling your emotions, feeling that the world is opposing your deepest wishes. Your challenge is to be powerful in the most positive sense of the word. This way you achieve your life goals without causing too much damage on the way!
;*Explanation
Sun Opposition Saturn
This is a serious moment in your life and practicality is the theme. One area of your life is coming to a close and another is beginning. This change may be a natural progression in your life, or it could be an unwelcome obstacle. You may feel weighed down by your own or other people's expectations. It is time for you to apply yourself to the practicalities rather than the emotions. Focusing on your feelings is not productive right now. When you feel overwhelmed by the alterations in your life remind yourself of the adage: "When one door closes, another door opens". Later, with the benefit of hindsight, you will see the benefits of this period even if you cannot see them right now.
Sun Conjunct Midheaven
You were born near midday, as the Sun had reached its highest peak. Like the bright Sun you are called to shine in the world suggesting your destiny is to be identified through your career. Your vocation is a call to know yourself and you will identify strongly with your work and profession. The Solar qualities of leadership, fathering, fostering, creativity, self-expression, confidence and courage are important to develop. It is helpful to understand that, like all vocations, there will be peaks and troughs, successes and failures, as well as critical moments of transition. It is imperative to be as aware of the times of descent and the shadows along your career path, as it is the ascent and light.
Sun Hard Saturn
The Sun is making a difficult contact with the planet Saturn in your chart indicating that you have to face some hardships before achieving your life goals. It's possible that you had a difficult childhood, experiencing either emotional or financial troubles. Perhaps your father, or a father figure, was an imposing and restrictive force in your life. As a child you may have felt imprisoned, unable to communicate your innermost thoughts and feelings. You may have been frightened to venture forth in the world. As an adult you may still have difficulty expressing yourself and at times feel that external circumstances are still somewhat onerous. You're fearful, worrying about the outcome of decisions and actions. On a positive note childhood difficulties can become the basis for adult wisdom, particularly if you're able to overcome your fears. As you grow older you learn that your natural reserve stands you in good stead, giving you the ability to stand back and assess situations. Your confidence grows enabling you to achieve your goals through attention to detail and hard work.
Mercury Soft Venus
Although not a major aspect of your birth chart, the planets Mercury and Venus are making contact indicating that communication and learning are one of your joys in life. You're amiable and cheerful, and usually express yourself in a loving manner. A charming person, you tend to shy away from conflict, preferring that other people respond to you in a pleasant and polite way. When faced with unavoidable conflict, you attempt to smooth over troubled waters rather than take a confrontational approach. You're a good talker and listener, and genial conversations are a source of pleasure. It's likely that you also enjoy studying, perhaps more for fun than for achievement, although this depends on other aspects in your chart.
Mercury Hard Jupiter
The planet Mercury is making an unfavourable aspect to the planet Jupiter in your chart indicating that you're likely to encounter obstacles in your education. This could be for a number of reasons. Perhaps you've so many ideas and plans that you're not sure which ones to follow, and as a result never seem to get started. It's also possible that you've many unfinished projects, because your attention span is limited. Perhaps you lack good judgement. In all of these scenarios your intentions are good, but you lack the discipline to accomplish your goals. You make promises you can't keep and are prone to exaggeration. As a result your credibility is generally low. You may even become the subject of scandal and gossip. Of course this all depends on other influences in your chart. And the good news is that you learn a great deal from your mistakes, growing older and wiser with each passing year. As a result you're likely to overcome your obstacles, and achieve your goals, particularly in the areas of communication and education. It's also possible that you choose to communicate your experience through teaching, writing or public speaking.
Mercury Hard Pluto
The planets Mercury and Pluto are combined in your birth chart suggesting that your education and communications are coloured with highs and lows. On the positive side you've a probing mind and the ability to assess situations rapidly, which can lead to success in your studies. You're likely to excel in any education process which requires research and intense work. It's also likely that these gifts will help you excel in any professional or personal situation which involves counselling or crisis work. Your insightful mind proves invaluable in such situations. You enjoy investigating mysteries and probing for hidden truths. Although you can be secretive by nature, you find it difficult to appreciate other people's need for privacy. You feel impelled to uncover any secret, be it personal or societal. Fortunately you also know how to keep secrets. It's likely that you've learnt to rely on your own judgement from an early age. Perhaps a threatening environment, at home, in your neighbourhood, or at school, meant that your instincts were a vital means of survival. It could also have been a crisis, ranging from a traumatic change of school or a death, that led to your ability to see situations clearly and honestly. The gifts can be used to benefit your adult life, and other people. However, problems are likely to arise because of your inability to see the lighter side of life, and to accept that occasionally you might be wrong! You are a deep thinker with wonderful powers of concentration, but you can become obsessive, seeing only innuendos and subtleties in communications, rather than the bigger and often brighter picture. This obsessive side of your nature means that you also tend to believe that others are opposed to your thoughts and ideas, when perhaps they're not. You need to battle to overcome your tendency to create conflict and then seek revenge in such situations. If you believe that you're losing sight of the plot, then seek advice from a trusted friend or colleague. You are at your most powerful when using your insights for positive purposes. In particular your honesty and insights can be useful in a counselling situation, but be careful of taking these talents out of the consulting room unless invited to do so. Friends and loved ones may not always appreciate your ability to get straight to the point, particularly if they're feeling vulnerable or emotionally distraught. You need to learn tact and diplomacy and sensitivity to other people's pain. Your gifts, combined with compassion, make you a powerful advocate in any field.
Venus Hard Jupiter
The planets Venus and Jupiter are combining unfavourably in your chart suggesting that you are somewhat fickle in relationships. It's not that you don't love your partner, but rather that the grass appears greener in other fields. Of course your ability to form a long-lasting relationship depends on other influences in your chart, but this combination suggests that you can be somewhat self-centred. When the going gets tough you lose interest and wander off for greener pastures. The good news is that you're likely to benefit through your partner, despite this inconsistent side of your nature. You're optimistic and talented, full of joie de vivre and optimistic plans for the future, which are likely to be successful. You're also likely to be surrounded by supportive friends, and many potential life partners. You're seeking a relationship with someone who will expand your horizons. You love to share adventures, philosophies and goals.
Venus Soft Mars
The planets Venus and Mars are combining in your chart indicating that you seek a stimulating and romantic relationship. You're charming and assertive, passionate and alive, and admire these qualities in a potential intimate partner. You love to share your adventures with your partner, and it's likely that your relationship will inspire both you and your partner to explore new territory. You need only be wary of holding unrealistically high expectations of your partner, as this can lead to difficulties. This is more likely to be the case when you're young and idealistic. You're liable to disappointment, perhaps even angry feelings, when your partner fails to live up to your expectations. You could also feel angry if rejected in love. Fortunately you've an irrepressible side to your nature, on which you can rely in times of relationship trouble. You're a loyal and fun-loving partner with an ability to balance intimacy with independence.
Mars Hard Jupiter
The planets Mars and Jupiter are combining in your chart indicating that your hasty judgement can sometimes land you in hot water. You've plenty of motivation to achieve your goals, but lack proper judgement and discernment so that you miscalculate the amount of time and energy needed. You're careless and impulsive, and need to be careful of accidents which are a result of you rushing around and trying to achieve too much. The motto "you're your own worst enemy" could be one for you to reflect upon. Depending on other aspects in your chart you're also excessive in your generosity. You need to develop self discipline as your impulsiveness may be an impediment to reaching your goals. On a more positive note you're a lively and resourceful person, who delights in good health and keeping busy. Any course of action is entered into with confidence and determination to succeed, which you're likely to do despite the obstacles. You certainly know how to get yourself and other people motivated, and can make a good leader or manager. You may be particularly keen to travel, enjoying the stimulation of visiting other venues. You could direct your energy to achievement in sports, politics or travel. Once you have learnt to manage your resources you can achieve many of your goals.
Saturn Hard Neptune
The planets Saturn and Neptune are combining in your chart suggesting that you've difficulty achieving your career ambitions. It's likely that you're a highly creative individual, but that you either lack the confidence to follow your true path, or the ability to make your dreams a reality. This doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't successful in your career, but rather that something is missing. It could be that you're dissatisfied with your career choice, because you're not following your true vocation. It's also possible that you enjoy your work, but aren't being paid well, which leads to frustration and disappointment. No matter how much other people urge you to stand up for your rights, you believe that you're not in a position to do so. The problem may be that you've difficulty stepping back and appropriately assessing all of your options. You lack the confidence to pave your own professional path, afraid to leave the security and comfort of your current job, or you're too busy chasing rainbows to manage your career. At some stage in your life you're forced to learn to believe in yourself, to find the right mix of creativity and practicality. Once you've made steps along this process you gain the confidence to continue. Like a child learning to walk for the first time, you're soon off and running.
Saturn Opposite Midheaven
With Saturn at the lowest part of your horoscope, home may have been full of rules and regulations. In this atmosphere it might have been difficult to know what you really wanted or needed. Therefore leaving home, moving interstate, emigrating abroad might be necessary in order to hear your true calling, away from the expectations and traditions of your upbringing. Whether the family atmosphere was strictly bound or had secure enough boundaries you have inherited a deep sense of responsibility and duty. Your life task is to make sure that this does not become obligation to others, but an inner sense of duty and responsibility to yourself. Your task is to set down secure enough foundations and boundaries in adult life to be able to support your vocation. Ultimately you are your worst critic but also your best advisor.
Saturn square Neptune
With Saturn Square Neptune, you experience a dynamic, challenging interaction between Kafziel and Tamiel. Kafziel is the Angel of memory, solitude, and tears. Together these Angels put you on the path of personal integrity as surely as you follow one thought with another.
Your slow growth of understanding could be seen as a weakness. However, your path is one of steady, almost certain forward progress. You analyze and consider each decision and each new idea. In this way every step is firm and solid, not tentative or half-hearted.
Intelligent activity becomes part of your nature. Intelligent activity involves the skillful use and application of knowledge, so you must first gain knowledge before you can apply it effectively. Kafziel and Tamiel work in concert in your life by first supplying the means to learn, and then aiding your mind through dreams or visualizations of how to use the information you have gained.
As you allow your Angels into your life, you gain the capacity to maintain hope in the face of seeming disaster. You discover that even in the most difficult circumstances, you have Angelic protection, and you can find a way to work your way out of the problem.
These Angels help you learn how to manage pain. When you or someone else experience severe physical or emotional pain, your Angels provide the means for relieving its severity, as well as providing the path to resolving it altogether.
Zadkiel and Tamiel provide dreams to help you through life's difficulties. You have tenacity of spirit, and your Angels support its use. Sometimes you will have a conscious idea, and you work step by step to make that dream a reality. Other times dreams provide very direct messages about your life. Either way, your mental strength is a special ally throughout your life.
Uranus trine Neptune
With Uranus Trine Neptune, you experience a gentle intuitive link between Zadkiel and Tamiel. Zadkiel is the Angel of Death, and Tamiel of Dreams. Together they extend your understanding of the nature of life and its limits. They also reveal the many ways you can change your life through skillful action.
You have a natural love of ritual. You find, when you think about it, that ritual pervades everything you do. You get along with other people very well because you observe the steps of ritual, entering into each conversation, activity, or association according to socially or culturally defined rules, and in so doing you put other people at ease without undo fuss or bother.
You can develop subconscious talents through conscious expression. In concert with your Angels, you express little pieces of your subconscious awareness in conversation or action. As you do this, you affirm your less conscious abilities and honor them and your Angels. Then your mind is better able to provide ideas and feelings to aid your work.
Inspired idealism may not be what you think you have been looking for, but you are certain to find it eventually. Your Angels send you dreams and ideas all the time, and you have only to pay attention to them. Your idealism provides a foundation for you to help others who experience major disasters or transformations in their lives. When you or others experience loss, your Angels are ready and willing to lift you up.
A potential weakness is the lack of stamina. Physical exercise to build lung capacity and muscle strength is well worth the effort. The physical strength you gain provides a foundation for emotional and spiritual strength.
For mental strength, meditation or yoga provide an organized practice. Kundalini yoga provides a medium for mental focus as well as physical exercise, building all the structures you need to support your developing psychic awareness.
Another possible weakness of structure could lead to high blood pressure and its associated ailments. The above mentioned exercise, meditation, and yoga all serve to reduce blood pressure and strengthen the system so as to avoid dangers of stroke and heart ailments.
Heightened psychic states including clairvoyance are the norm for this combination.
Uranus Soft Neptune
The planets Uranus and Neptune are combining in your chart suggesting that your creative urges are strong. You enjoy exploring new territory, either through studying or travelling and your talents may lie in writing, healing, social welfare, healing or spiritual fields. You may be keen to explore metaphysical matters, perhaps even belonging to a secret society or a group dedicated to global healing, charity or spirituality. Your psychic abilities and intuition are likely to be heightened, and this may help you explore your creativity.
Uranus Soft Pluto
The planets Uranus and Pluto both move slowly through the zodiac, and therefore any connection between the two planets affects birth charts for a short period of time. You were born in such a time meaning that you feel the urge to bring about revolutionary change in your life and those of your friends, colleagues and society. You've high ideals and the creative energy to implement changes. You may be curious about metaphysical matters, science and global affairs.
Neptune Opposite Ascendant
Neptune on the western angle of your horoscope implies that you are vulnerable to projecting your idealism and romanticism onto others and becoming their champion. What you see in others are their potentialities and possibilities, often sacrificing your own creative potential to develop their talents, while relinquishing your own. Therefore you are often hurt when the illusion fades and reality dawns. Vocationally your task is to focus on your own creative potential and direct it towards either being imaginative or helping. You need to remember that the soulful qualities that you see in others are really the reflection of your own unrecognized talents which need to be channelled towards your own development.
Neptune square Midheaven
With Neptune forming a square to your Midheaven, psychic energies in your environment create challenges to your peace of mind and cause distress until you learn to read the messages in terms of yourself. By looking within yourself and opening your mind to angelic support, your Angels can help you to see the value of psychic awareness in terms of your own spiritual progress.
When the world showers you with glamour and other people try to convince you of realities that don't mesh with your own perceptions, your Angels can help you to express compassion for others, while also understanding your own motivations.
On the plus side, Tamiel supports your receptivity, empathy and sensitivity. Awareness of Mind is enhanced through Angelic associations, and your contemplative nature expands as you explore your own ego. This may sound odd, as many spiritual belief systems indicate that ego is to be avoided or quelled. However, if you go through ego issues instead of around them, you are better able to resolve them.
Tamiel also supports you by revealing your greatest mental and emotional weaknesses, so that you may resolve them. For example, you may be susceptible to deception, either from others or through yourself. Your Angels help you to perceive deception and to dispel it.
You have a powerful imagination that can be utilized in the search for self-awareness and spiritual consciousness, and your Angels are there to help you.
Neptune Soft Pluto
The planets Neptune and Pluto both move slowly through the zodiac, and therefore any connection between the two planets affects birth charts for a short period of time. You were born in such a time. This combination in your chart means that you're interested in opportunities to bring about fundamental change to human values. You are aware of injustices in society and, depending on other influences in your chart, may prefer to fight against them rather than sit back and accept the ills of society. Your creative urges may be linked to politics, or expressing your political views through the arts or spiritual or charitable organisations.
Pluto sextile Neptune
With Pluto Sextile Neptune, your life is enriched with opportunities presented by the Angels Metatron and Tamiel. Metatron has been called the King of Angels and the Chief of the Ministering Angels. This Angel is thought to be the pillar of fire the Jews followed in their exodus from Egypt. He is a certain link between you and the divine. Metatron's association with Tamiel, the Angel of Primordial Energies, is extremely powerful.
You undoubtedly experience supernatural events and conditions during your life. Your Angels provide this resource and can help you refine it. Psychic impressions and intuition become second nature to you after a while. You learn to act on intuition in much the same way you would act on advice from your accountant.
One facet of the path of personal integrity for you involves purification of your soul. This means elevating your thoughts above petty jealousy and anger. While you may never overcome negative thinking entirely, working with your Angels will lift you up, step by step, to thoughts of compassion and love. Love overcomes fear and compassion overcomes hatred.
One possible expression of this aspect of your birth chart is that you have at least one extrasensory ability. At first you may experience some confusion in interpreting psychic and intuitive information as it comes to you. You are likely to overcome this confusion once you develop the necessary comprehension of your abilities and thus develop your psychic skills. Meditation each day allows your Angels to contact you more directly to help in this area.
You have the power of a storyteller combined with the wisdom of a seer. You could write fiction or dramatic scripts, and your poetry can become the liquid fire of inspiration and soothing balm for the soul.
Chiron trine Uranus
If you have Chiron trine Uranus you are part of a small, select group of people, born either between 1945–1946, or 1994–1995. This aspect does not in itself denote a wound, but it does show something that can stir up any that you may have: anything that tests, or questions, your integrity.
You cannot stand being involved in any tasks, job, or career that puts your basic integrity into question, and you would be willing to leave such a situation because of this. Less than honest, or less than honourable circumstances that might force you to be untrue to your own principles are totally unacceptable, and you would have no problem leaving to go elsewhere. You can deal with situations which may not be totally open and above-board, as long as they do not force you to put your motto, ‘To thine own self be true’ in jeopardy.
Another side to this aspect is that you may have major lessons to learn about admitting you are wrong about something, not only to other people, also to yourself as well.
One of the positive sides to this aspect is that it gives you an ability, if you tap into it, be able to fit square pegs into round holes (and vice versa.) Because this is a trine between the planet that likes to shatter the status quo (Uranus), and the one that looks for doorways beyond the present limits (Chiron), you have a good sense of when to work within the current structure making changes, versus when the current structure needs to be broken apart to make way for something better.
And it is very common for this aspect to be found in people who are attracted to careers which other people may feel are out of character.
Chiron square Midheaven
A square makes you easily dissatisfied with the ordinary circumstances of life. There are deep wounds connected with both parents (or whoever your authority role models were in childhood), as you were very sensitive to everything they said, as well as to any conflict or undercurrent of anger or dissension that passed between them. One parent, or perhaps both, made you feel you had little self-worth. You may have repeated memories of feeling let down by role models you looked up to. It may be because you were made to feel that you would never amount to something, or it may be that you were constantly made to feel that you must find the right career for yourself and nothing else would do,perhaps not having the right tools or knowledge needed to find this ideal profession. Part of your healing must involve recognizing that you are different than your parents were. That, to paraphrase Gibran, you are from them, but you are not them. No matter what type of relationship they had with each other, your relationships need not be anything like theirs. No matter how they made you feel (and it may have been unintentional on their part), should you become a parent, the way you treat your children need not be anything like the way you were treated.
A major lesson is that you must grow and evolve along your own path, no matter what they said, you ‘should’ or ‘shouldn’t’ do or become.
As a result of your low self-esteem it might take you a while to find what you want to do with your life. To make matters worse, the Midheaven is the most outward, public part of a person, which means that when you are experiencing pain it is extremely difficult to hide it from the outside world, it’s out in the open. Chiron is also square the opposite point, the Immum Coeli, so it is also extremely difficult to hide any pain you feel from your family.
But the more you heal, the more you desire to learn about yourself, and about the world, the more you learn, the more you heal. To some extent this means that you may be a student for your entire life.
Careers where it is important to remain secure, learning is where you will shine, where you can do something to help others heal in some way, physically, or emotionally, mentally, spiritually, or a career where you open minds, encouraging others to want to learn. So you could have a career as a healer, or you could be that teacher people remember because you made them want to explore the world after they left your class.
Chiron square Mars
With Chiron square Mars, you have a deep wound that makes you feel the need to fight. How it manifests, what battles you choose depends first of all on how much you have been able to heal. For the need to fight was brought on very young, perhaps because you felt unjustly accused of something, perhaps because it was the only way to get what you felt was rightfully yours, perhaps because you felt attacked. In any case, there are some very deep wounds here, and a lot of pain and pent up anger (or even rage).
Whatever the causes, the Houses these two bodies fall in on your chart will show where some of your greatest battles come from in life. The sign Mars is placed in will describe your fighting style, while the sign Chiron is in will describe the type of situation that make you feel like fighting. And one way you can tell that you are experiencing pent up anger from the old wound is if someone ‘touches your buttons’, and the anger you feel seem way out of proportion to what the situation should warrant. You need to work on this anger, find avenues to release it (sports, for example, or chopping wood, or other physical activity, or therapy), and as difficult as it may seem, learn to forgive those who hurt you. You don’t have to forget to heal, but you must find a way to forgive.
As you heal from your wounds, you feel motivated to go all out to fight for those less fortunate, or for those oppressed. But until you have begun the healing path, this fighter instinct may simply manifest as a strong feeling that you can improve your life by fighting. Some situations warrant fighting, of course, but healing for you is also learning how to choose your battles, and choose when not to fight.
There are major lessons to be learned here about your masculine side (whether you are male or female, you have both an anima and an animus), which hopefully, you have learned a good bit from during early life experiences. If not, there may develop an overpowering need to assert the self, to the point that the over compensation distorts the lifestyle.
One of the major lessons that you must learn is to be adaptable, to try new methods when they come along, to experiment. Somehow, you were deeply wounded in a way that made you feel you needed to stick to a particular method of doing things, or at the very least, there is a fear of going in to uncharted waters.
So the lesson is that there are definitely times to go off in new directions, and when you learn this, the healing has begun. Some learn it early in life while others apparently never learn it.
Until the lesson is learned, the following is a common sequence of events: you find some method that works, some plan of action, but then tend to use it continually, getting into a rut (habit). After this goes on for a while, Chiron comes along and throws a wrench into the process, the success formula doesn’t work anymore, or it produces negative results. When this occurs, you may fall down, and fall hard! Even when you don’t actually fall, you are definitely thrown off-balance, and must reorient yourself. At this point in time, depending on how you have evolved past the wound, you will usually choose one of three alternatives.
1. Make an adjustment, and then go back to some routine method of doing things. If this approach is chosen you will once again have to go through the same process in the future, repeating each time that you refuse to learn. Eventually, this repetitived stress can have an influence on the health, producing stress-related ills.
2. Learn part of the lesson. If this is the case, you learn the virtues of trying new methods, new ways of doing things, but not the ‘why’ of the lesson. You might begin to revel in each new method. You may seek out and try to experience every new act that can be found, every new experience and sensation that exists, perhaps even inventing brand new ones. If you continue along this course you will still be confronted with Chiron throwing a wrench into the act, but you will see it as just one more new experience, or as a temporary setback. Continued long enough, there is a danger of going to excess with destructive results.
3. You rise above your past wound, and learn to be adaptable. You learn to try new things, and learn to discriminate, so that you also know when the old methods are still valid. You use new ways of doing things when the time is right. You thus build up a broad repertoire of methods and experiences to draw upon, and will be seen by others as extremely resourceful and multi-talented. Should you turn this great personal energy towards helping others, you will find a knack for coming up with the right solution for each individual’s problems, and often have uncanny insights into what makes people tick. You welcome each new experience, seeing it as a means, not an end.
Chiron conjunct Jupiter
There is a deep wound when it comes to the learning process with this aspect, but it is not easy to deal with.
People born with Chiron conjunct Jupiter are born with an insatiable desire to learn. In fact, you were born wanting to learn more intensely, and a broader range of subjects, than other children. The problem was, however, one of structure.
It was difficult to teach you, but not because you were not smart. The difficulty was getting you to learn by following a particular schedule, at a particular time, or following any preset route, especially if you had to be in the same place each time.
Your ability to understand concepts and symbols, meanings and ideas, works best when outside a structured environment. You are at your best when you can teach yourself, or at least, pick the subject, time and place to study. (You would have profited much more from individual tutors than you would have from regular schooling.)
You may have been made to feel at times you were stupid, or uncooperative, or even a troublemaker, because your mind did not want to follow the course of learning set out for you by authorities. You may also have been made to feel that there was something wrong with you because of your curiosity, perhaps you asked questions about ‘forbidden’ subjects, or perhaps you were criticized for going off the subject time and time again.
In order to heal, you need to understand that the wound occurred because your particular type of mind was just not understood, nor were your methods of learning. As a result of your unique mind, you can often perceive significance in things that others overlook, or in ideas others find trivial. Thus you have the potential of reaching others to help others find meaning in their own lives. But if you have not done much healing, this special vantage point can also come out negatively, you may notice great significance in many unpleasant or negative events, and weave a philosophy built upon despair or sadness. But as you heal, you can perceive the meaning of even the most negative events, and develop a philosophy of change of the sort needed to alter negative conditions. One lesson this aspect requires you to learn is to see the bright side in situations, even if it is not readily apparent, and to see the good in people, even if it is buried deep within.
Another aspect of the wound with this position is that you may have been ridiculed for your beliefs, or judged because of them. Or perhaps authorities tried to make you doubt things you were sure of. Either way, it hurt.
As you grew, this wound caused you to feel a need to be certain in your beliefs to have no doubt that your convictions are correct.Depending on how well you have healed, this can manifest positively or negatively, the courage of your convictions, versus negative blind faith.
All in all, you are able to find meaning in events, and in life itself, that are not quite the same as the way others perceive them. Because of your unique way of thinking, you develop a philosophy/religion/belief system that is not part of any mainstream system.
Chiron square Saturn
It is a rare person with this aspect who did not as a child have a great deal of difficulty with parents. Since this aspect seems to stay within orb for many years, it seems to represent more people, whole generations, rather than single individuals. Thus, a great many people came from homes where there was difficulty dealing with authority. This aspect expresses itself as a tendency to get set into some routine, or some effort to build a structure that is impervious to change. You have a clear-cut idea of reality, and while you might not like it, it is secure. But then Chiron comes along and throws you totally off your feet. You may easily feel that you have been zapped! The world picture is suddenly different from what you had thought it was, and reality must be drastically redefined. At this point, you have two options:
1. Allow fear to take over, withdraw, not knowing who or what to trust. You know that what you had counted on no longer works, but you fear looking for something that will work. The best thing you could do at this point would be to seek guidance, but it is a scary thing to do, and some people allow themselves to be almost crushed before seeking help.
2. This is the more positive expression. You recognize that it is up to you to put the pieces together to form a more coherent personal definition of reality. You pull yourself together, sometimes seeking assistance from a counsellor, psychologist or guru, and attempt to construct a more workable life system with a structure that will withstand whatever comes. At this point crucial decisions are made. You may go so far as to establish a new, tight, secure foundation for yourself, and then hide behind it. If this path is chosen, you will find that you must eventually go through the catastrophe all over again as you discover that the new reality is faulty, too. or, you may go to the extreme of disregarding conventions, structures, and any definition of reality altogether. You may become totally anti-authority. If you choose this route, you will also, one day, reach a critical point where everything collapses around you, only for you, it may eventually be the coming of a very heavy Saturn event (imprisonment, poverty, ostracism) causing a great loss of personal freedom. What this aspect is trying to teach you is a major lesson, but if you do not learn from such experience, the cycle can repeat.
The most positive path, however, is the acceptance of any definition of reality as temporary, and any structure as useful, but only as a means to an end. By learning to accept change, accepting authority as necessary to a particular situation (but not as all-powerful), accept that those in power are also human, you reach a great equilibrium. You can use Saturn when needed, and go beyond it when necessary. In fact, you can create your own structures to fit the occasion, and discard them when they’re no longer needed. One of the people with this aspect, Robin Williams, said it best as the title of his album, ‘Reality is a Crutch’.
Chiron conjunct Neptune
If you have a conjunction of Chiron and Neptune, you are part of a very select group. In the past one hundred years, the two bodies only came together briefly during August and September, 1945. The world changed forever in that brief period. The walls of the smallest bit of matter, the atom (Chiron) were dissolved (Neptune), and the world saw in Hiroshima the terrifying possibility of total world destruction. But the world also saw people come together in the form of the United Nations, attempting to start healing humanity by looking at the larger picture of the whole earth rather than countries.
Singer Van Morrison was born at this time, and his music blends blues, jazz, and folk; tells of pain, and dreams, has the power to mesmerise and disturb, and touches almost everyone personally, influencing a multitude of musicians that came after him.
The power in this conjunction gives you the potential, likewise, to do something that can influence large masses of people, as deep inside you see the common connection that unites all humanity. This can be through art or music, through words, or by your actions. It can be on an emotional level, or spiritual.
However, there is also the possibility of a negative manifestation as the healing and wholemaking qualities of Chiron can be distorted by Neptune, leading you to see your role as that of a changer or influencer of people, yet not realizing that the power you are tapping is not your own but universal forces. This can be dangerous to you, and to those around you.
Positively you have a keen sensitivity to the needs of others and a basic understanding of how to give them what is needed. It is a powerful position for any teacher for it gives the ability to convey much more than just words, and much more than the pupils may realize they are learning.
There is a super-sensitivity to people, and to unseen energies, but if the environment you grew up in did not allow you to admit to having feelings and picking up vibes, this aspect can be repressed, much to both personal and to society’s loss.
