But until you learn to be open to change, willing to keep an open mind to the unexpected, you may find yourself feeling very insecure, and when these unexpected doors are open you may react with fear, or even by becoming defensive. If you have not learned to be open, there can be a tendency to try to erect barriers in the areas influenced by Chiron, to try to shield Mars from the unexpected.
