Some feel that the South Node represents karmic experiences, knowledge learned in previous lives. But even if you do not believe in reincarnation, the South Node should be a source of strength, but not a place to reside.

Those who have Chiron conjunct South Node have difficult lessons to learn. There have been some serious, painful past experiences in your life. Chiron here initially can result in the blame game. On one level or another, as you heal, you can become a healer yourself. Carl Jung said that only someone who has been wounded can heal others, and if you have a lot of strength you can draw upon to do just that.
