Chiron does not allow complacency, or ruts, nor does it allow a person to remain resistant to change. What happens is that, until you have begun to heal, you will periodically experience new aspects of yourself from areas that you thought you knew completely.

If you remain entrenched in your self-image, these new aspects tend either to become repressed (and then work on subconscious levels) or warped to fit in with the self-image that already exists. This aspect can make a difficult childhood because one of your parents continually surprised you.
