Your Sun Sign
Sun in Cancer
While kindness may not be exclusively the domain of Cancer, this virtue is shaped from the bonds of kinship first experienced in the home. Family values such as doing good rather than harm, being friendly, compassionate and helpful are the tender-hearted acts that promote the virtue of kindness. Deep inside these are virtues that inspire you. Even if your family upbringing did not provide the stability you needed to feel safe, you feel drawn to nurturing and acts of kindness.
Like crabs that dwell on the threshold of the sea Cancer is sensitised to the shape shifting seas and its tidal cycle. It secures its home regardless of the fluctuation in fortunes and the alternating tides. For you this instinctual truth suggests you have the ability to find stability within the daily tides of feelings, which swell, ebb, flood and retract. You feel compelled to find a secure place on the edge of life's upheavals and live in the world without being swept away by emotional complexity. You build a strong enough shell to contain your feelings so that you are able to love and care without harm to your tender heart.
When you feel safe and protected you emerge from your shell to demonstrate your caring, affection, warmth and kindness. You are vulnerable and tender, slow to trust and warm up, but when you feel securely attached then your heart opens to care and nurture others. Your instinct is to protect the vulnerable, shelter the homeless and care for the sensitive. Being so responsive to others, you are finely attuned to what others need. Moved by the plight of those less fortunate, those in distress or people, who feel hurt or rejected, you are able to demonstrate kindness and compassion. You are strongly influenced by the maternal archetype, whose natural instinct is to nurture, protect, shelter and foster those who are vulnerable.
Charity begins at home, which is your domain. Donald Winnicott reminded us that home is where we start from and having a secure enough base allows us to wander into the world with the legacy of a sympathetic ear and a tender heart. Therefore one of your labours of life is to find your home, where you belong, and your ancestry. This might take some time. In the meantime you will have different places where you settle in your search for home. Along the way you bring warmth and character to your tasks. To find your vitality and spirit and to feel soulful in the world you need to strive to find the qualities of caring, helpfulness, protection, sympathy and tenderness.
Your Moon Sign
Moon in Cancer
Your Moon is in Cancer, its natural home. As the governess of the tides you too are aware of the constantly changing moods, the fullness of feelings and the letting go of attachments. Therefore you are highly sensitive to the subtle textures and colours of the feeling life, especially when you are in a closely-knit group. You respond to others in your environment and can feel easily hurt when they are unresponsive or withdrawn. Therefore in your daily work and rituals it is important to feel emotionally safe and secure. You prefer your work environment to be like family and instinctually might try and recreate a familial environment. It is important to be aware of your security needs at work and strive to have these met or protect yourself when you feel unsafe. Building both emotional and financial security in your vocation is important.
From an early age you recognised your tender touch. You might have imagined being a nurse, a vet, a carer or a teacher. While your life path may have veered away from your childhood images you still need to feel engaged and attached to what you are doing. Much of your need to care can be fulfilled through parenting. However if you do not choose this path then you might find yourself drawn towards professions where care is highlighted. To care for your own soul, however, you need to feel supported by close friends and provide a safe nest for yourself.
If you are called to the nurturing professions then your Moon in Cancer might lean towards caring for the dependent, such as aged care, childcare, becoming a paediatrician or specialising in infant illnesses. Women's issues or family orientated concerns may also appeal. Nurturing professions such as health care, nursery or day care, primary teaching, social work, nursing, counsellors and helpers of all kinds like family therapists and social workers would be part of the wide spectrum that you may feel drawn towards.
Your Rising Sign
Ascendant in Virgo
Caution is a keyword for your Virgo Ascendant. Perhaps you are a cautious person from birth. Alternatively another side of your nature may dictate that you learn discrimination as you mature. Either way this Ascendant is asking that you make it your duty to put your analytical powers to good use. You are unlikely to be happy if you take no action at all. Imagine staying in the same job for an entire working life simply because you lacked the courage to step into the unknown, or the self-worth to apply elsewhere? This is unthinkable for many other members of the Zodiacal circle but not for anyone with strong Virgo. Your strength is that once you put your mind to something then you can achieve it. You've a quiet, reserved, retiring and receptive side to your nature but you can also be quietly determined. Although you're not strongly ambitious you do persevere to accomplish your goals in life. You're economical, thrifty, hygienic, and tidy in body and mind. Order and precision are your preferred modes of self-expression, and you like other people to follow your lead. You lead by example and when others follow you are satisfied. Your fate could largely depend on your circumstances, but is likely to be linked to your organisational ability. Your intellectual ability could also feature strongly in your life, perhaps through research. When it comes to money you are also cautious. This can be a positive indicator if other parts of your Birth Chart (and therefore your personality) are reckless. However, you do need to take some risks in life, even small ones. Your fulfilment is likely to come from being of service to others. You need to discover which area of service is likely to give you the most joy, not for security or monetary reasons, but for sheer pleasure. This is allowed even for the most dutiful of Virgos. If you would like to focus on a positive affirmation connected to money then with your Virgo Ascendant you could use this one from “Creating Money – Keys to Abundance”by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer “I know what I love to do and I do it”.
Planets in Signs
Mercury in Gemini
The planet Mercury in the zodiac sign of Gemini indicates what a chatterbox you are. You do not mean to prattle on and on. It's just that you do so love the art of conversation, exchanging ideas with other people, and catching up on news. You're a fast talker, with a keen interest in most subjects. You enjoy books, letters, magazines, the media, computers and anything else that helps you learn and communicate. You also like to network, linking people from different walks of life, and giving information gained from one source to the next. For this reason you often find that you're the common link in a chain of quite different friends. You enjoy education of all forms, but may suffer in early education through an inability to sit still and listen. As you grow older you're likely to excel in your education because of your enquiring mind and intelligence. Astrologically speaking, the planet Mercury is considered to be strong in its rulership sign of Gemini. This means that you can benefit from your many interests. At times you find that your thoughts are scattered, but once you've managed to focus on your subject you can excel, particularly in fields such as teaching, writing, communications, and networking.
Venus in Cancer
With Venus in the sign of Cancer your relationship with your family plays a key role in your life, as you like to feel that you belong to a tribe. Whether the relationships run a smooth or rocky course, you're bonded with your family. Your mother in particular may be a key figure. You also like to form close friendships. Social occasions may revolved around family events, and over the years your friends become part of the family, mingling easily with family members at social occasions. You seek a partner who can also become part of your family and help you keep the home fires burning. You enjoy sharing the comforts of your home with your loved one, including forming a family of your own, as you enjoy children. Domesticity is an important avenue of sharing with your partner. You enjoy cooking for your loved ones, and providing for their needs. You may also enjoy tracing the family tree. When it comes to money matters, you like the security that a regular income brings. You also like to invest your money, gaining emotional comfort from the fact that it's a nest egg for the future.
Mars in Cancer
The planet Mars in the sign of Cancer indicates that you have powerful emotions which can be used to protect and nurture your loved ones close to home, or to fight for a cause further afield. You're not afraid to use your strength to battle against injustice on other people's behalf. You can also be very protective of small or defenceless animals. You can move mountains when your powerful emotions are channelled into a positive cause; however, you need to be wary of misdirecting your energy and becoming vengeful. You're so vehemently opposed to injustice that you can nurse ill-feelings towards those you consider to be the perpetrators of wrong-doing. This can result in outbursts of temper or plans for revenge. Although you're assertive, even aggressive, when it comes to protecting the feelings and rights of others, you're likely to retreat into your shell when personally hurt. You find it much more difficult to stand up for your own personal rights than you do for others. Astrologically the planet Mars is considered to be in a difficult position in the sign of Cancer meaning that you could have some difficulties directing your energies into positive pursuits.
Jupiter in Virgo
You've the planet Jupiter in the zodiac sign of Virgo in your birth chart indicating that you have a strong desire to be of service to humanity in a practical manner because you're a methodical and matter-of-fact person. It's not that you don't have high religious or spiritual ideals, because you do. It's simply that you're prudent and down-to-earth in the manner in which you would like to see these ideals manifested. You've a materialistic view of life and are adept at working towards your goals. You're likely to rise above your station in life through success in business, speculative dealings, gains through investments and professional recognition. You're cautious and not easily influenced by other people. In fact you're very careful in your choice of acquaintances, and count very few people as your friends. However, those who can count you as a friend are indeed fortunate because you're discreet and loyal. It is possible that your friends are students of occult studies. When you travel it is more likely to be for business than for pleasure, reflecting the practical side of your nature. In some forms of astrology the planet Jupiter is considered to be in an ill-favoured position in the sign of Virgo, meaning that you should be wary of being too smug and covetous of the material side of life.
Saturn in Aries
The planet Saturn in the sign of Aries signifies that you're resourceful, and capable of applying new methods of approaching a project or problem in a practical manner. You're ambitious and prefer to carry out tasks on your own rather than in a group. If you do take part in group projects then you're likely to be the leader. You're able to slowly and surely achieve your ambitions, although it's more likely to be later than earlier in life. Your lessons are in patience and self-reliance. Once you've mastered these traits then you can resolutely work towards your objectives. You've good reasoning faculties. You tend to be reserved rather than outgoing, although you're touchy and easily-angered when under pressure. Those who know you well can sometimes feel the brunt of your temper. Astrologically speaking the planet Saturn is in an ill-favoured position in the sign of Aries meaning that you need to beware of your tendency to try to achieve all of your goals on your own without recognising the contribution of other people.

You may be defined in some way by a wounding event that calls into question your identity. As a result you may become a leader or pioneer. Even though being in charge and taking the initiative means facing your fears, you are capable of inspirational leadership and taking decisive action.
You may feel vulnerable, feeling that your pain and scars are visible to others. By being courageous, you will find the key to face life's challenges.
At times you perhaps feel a deep sense of isolation, or aloneness and feel that you have to push ahead on your own, without much support from others. But relationships will also bring you opportunities to heal. Over time you will begin to forge supportive connections with others who may have undergone similar experiences. You will discover you have a rare gift to heal others as well as yourself.
Planets in Houses
Sun in 10th house
In your 10th house you have the Sun. Solar occupations have been traditionally linked with speculation and risk-taking in entrepreneurial business ventures. While the Sun is not psychologically associated with risk, except perhaps the risks of self-discovery, the Solar sphere of the 5th house rules speculation and gambling and conjures up images of commodity traders, promoters, stock exchange personnel, investment bankers, high risk investors.
Solar qualities of leadership and fathering are connected with authoritative and executive positions. The Sun represents vocations that father and foster others, and with the Sun in the 10th house leadership is part of the career path; hence positions such as foremen, presidents, magistrates, community leaders, business managers, instructors, principals and team directors are reflective of the Sun shining through the 10th house. On a personal level the need for the personal father's approval may be high and this could be unconsciously transferred onto superiors in the workforce when father's approval feels lacking or is withheld. Father may also be influential in the choice of vocation; this is not always conscious, as father's unlived professional life may be cast a shadow over your own career path.
The Sun is also linked to entertainment professions, amusements, self-improvement, creative expression or careers involved relating to an audience. Acting, the theatre, the performing arts, motivational training, teaching, sales, advertising and promotions are all consistent with the urge to express the self. This also could manifest in careers involving amusement centres, or professions which deal with leisure and recreation. The Sun is also the natural ruler of the 5th house, suggesting working with children and children's products. A wide range of careers would fit this category such as teachers, child counsellors, children's recreation or amusement, children and educational toys, children's wear etc.
Of all the planetary types, the solar type is one of the most difficult to typify. However, you need to enjoy what you do and feel personally identified with your vocation. There is a strong affinity with creativity and a need to be acknowledged and congratulated for your creative endeavours. Ultimately what is important is that you are able to identify with your career and be able to place your creativity and yourself at the heart of what you do.
Moon in 10th house
The Moon is in your 10th house, suggesting that you bring the realm of feelings, sensitivity and emotion to your profession. In classical astrology the Moon was associated with the public. Combining this with the lunar need to nurture, the vocations that are associated with the 10th house Moon are health care professions, social work, family counselling or therapy, nursing and involvement in the public service. Other professions which deal with the public, also ruled by the Moon are chefs, bakers and brewers, waiters, other occupations dealing with food and agriculture, the food industry, including catering, hotel management and promotion.
Besides the public, the moon is symbolic of women and women's issues. Therefore the Moon in the 10th house is also representative of professions concerning women's rights, health care and social services. Specialized medical areas such as gynaecology or specific issues of infertility, pregnancy, hormonal changes and rites of passage could play a role vocationally.
The Moon is also concerned with the home and is associated with a range of professions dealing in home services such as real estate, products for the home, home design and building (with a personal touch), domestic services, home services, furniture, antiques and making the home secure and safe. Astrological statistics have linked the Moon to the profession of writers, perhaps in a broader sense because this profession uses the right side of the brain and works in an imaginative way. Professionals such as writers, songwriters, poets, playwrights, artists, scriptwriters, novelists and creative journalists are under the spell of the Moon and may find creative writing an important part of their vocation. What is of importance is that you feel at home with your career and are able to use your strong perceptive and intuitive nature in your work.

Professions which include diplomacy and protocol such as diplomats, ambassadors, customer services, lawyers, social arrangements, and personnel managers are also ruled by Venus, all careers which might be worth your consideration.
Venus is also connected with partnerships and working in a one-to-one situation. Venus in the 10th house suggests careers that involve partnerships, as a counterpart to another, working in close affiliation with others or in a profession which complements others. These could include counselling especially career counselling or relationship therapy, tutors, business partnerships, personal recruitment, personal assistant or secretarial work. You may also be inclined to work in industries that promote a sense of worth, whether that is in a psychological or economical way. For instance you may have innate skills at personal coaching or investment strategies. You might find that you have an innate skill in dealing with money, helping others to become more financially aware and/or secure.
As the ruler of Taurus and the 2nd house, Venus is also linked to professions involving finance as well as agriculture. Using the senses and the creative flair are also important a vocation and Venus in the 10th may derive satisfaction from massage, aromatherapy, food and wine merchants and connoisseurs. Mars in 10th house
Mars is in your 10th house, suggesting that any occupations promoting an independent and entrepreneurial spirit are important. Goal-orientated occupations encouraging your competitive drive and allowing you the freedom to express your self are imperative. Mars is strongly placed in your horoscope suggesting you need to express your competitive nature; you have a high ambition and natural drive. If the competitive spirit is stifled then you might experience aggression being displaced in your work environment either through your clients, your co-workers or your superiors. Mars rules the head and needs to be first, so administration and supervisory careers are more suitable for your enterprising spirit. You excel when you are challenged or when you have the opportunity to pioneer a project. You also do extremely well through invention and exploration, especially when you are encouraged to use your entrepreneurial spirit.
Careers involving the sense of danger, adventure and adrenaline are governed by Mars. This archetype feels the need to participate and be challenged therefore competitive or adventure sports, the fire brigade, the police force, paramedics and ambulance work are good outlets for this. Mars is also physical and sometimes using physical energies either in competition sports, training or labour may play a role on your vocational path. Physical education trainers, coaches, dancers and dance instructors, gymnastics, athletics, coach, physical education, physical labour, construction workers are all images that resonate with Mars in your 10th house. Physicality will probably play a key role in your career.
Classically Mars's professions have been associated with 'sharp' objects or tools linking them to careers such as surgeons, dentists, or occupations using mechanical instruments such as machinists, mechanics, and carpenters. As the god of war, Mars is linked with military professions like the armed services, the National Guard, security services and providers. Rigorous training, discipline, focus and being alert are aspects of a Martian vocation. Statistically Mars has played a leading role in horoscopes of sports champions. Therefore it is not surprising that this placement might lead to a sports-orientated career either through playing sports themselves or working in associated professions, such as physiotherapy, coaching or training. Whatever way in which you encounter Mars in your profession it is imperative that you feel you are independent enough to strike out on your own and are able to be self-regulated and motivated. Without challenges or motivation you may become restless and bored, becoming your own adversary. If this happens, remember action is more powerful than positive thinking, so just get out and move and do something.

You're a kind-hearted person who likes to help anyone who is suffering, perhaps even working in a charitable organisation. You're more likely to work behind the scenes rather than taking on a public role, refusing to accept public accolades. Nevertheless your good works don't go unnoticed and you're likely to benefit in other ways. It's possible that you work in an institution such as a hospital or museum, where you can work quietly and unobserved. If you do have an active public life, then you benefit greatly from extended periods of time spent in seclusion. You've a great respect for ancient wisdom, the spiritual teachings of past civilisations. Secret societies may also play a beneficial role in your life. Although you may suffer setbacks during your life, these are followed by successful periods.
Saturn in 8th House
The planet Saturn progresses slowly through the Zodiac and therefore its influence is subtle. Saturn is a wonderful planet when you do your homework. However, if you try to escape your responsibilities then you are likely to suffer the consequences. So wherever this planet progresses you need to listen to your conscience and obey, rather than try to cut corners. In your case Saturn is progressing now through the 8th House of the Zodiac which is linked with seasons, birth, death, business and metaphysics. Therefore you are likely to take life quite seriously. Of course you may have been born with Saturn in your 8th House and so your nature might be serious. The progression of Saturn through this section of your Birth Chart sees you learn by experience. You are likely to be focus on matters of depth rather than superficial ones. This is a wonderful opportunity to build a legacy that is worthwhile for others in society.
Uranus in 1st House
The planet Uranus is in the 1st House of your birth chart suggesting that you're one of a kind - a real individual, who stands out in a crowd. And this is the way that you like it. The tried and true paths through life don't interest you. An original thinker, perhaps even a genius in your field, you're eager to embrace new ideas and projects. You're excited by innovative and challenging ideas and projects. It's definitely a case of "out with the old and in with the new". Rules are meant to be broken and traditions are meant to be defied as far as you're concerned. You like to take risks, and can be a bit of a dare-devil. In fact if anyone tries to curb your freedom, you're willing to fight for your rights to be independent. It's possible that others will turn to you for leadership, wanting you to fight for their rights as well. For this reason you could be at the forefront of humanitarian or political causes. It's also possible that metaphysical, scientific and occult discoveries fascinate your intelligent and intuitive mind. Your appearance is likely to reflect your original personality, resulting in some original and innovated fashion statements. Although you may appear odd at times to other people, your original approach to life is likely to overcome their concerns.
Neptune in 3rd House
The planet Neptune placed in the 3rd House of your chart means that you're full of creative ideas, and may excel in artistic or spiritual pursuits. You're most effective when listening to your intuition, rather than trying to pursue a logical train of thought. You enjoy investigating spiritual truths and phenomenon, or applying your understanding to a creative pursuit. Your insights into human nature and spiritual matters, and your ability to communicate these insights are quite astounding. You've an almost psychic understanding of other people and events. For these reasons you're likely to be drawn to activities or work that require psychological insight, spiritual perception or artistic inspiration. Depending on other aspects in your birth chart, you may also suffer from moments of confusion, particularly if you're trying to listen to logic rather than intuition.
Pluto in 1st House
The planet Pluto is in the 1st House of your birth chart indicating that you're a powerful person, who really makes an impact on your surroundings. You may be surprised to realise just how powerful an effect you've on those around you. You're constantly challenging yourself and other people to embrace all that life offers, and to forge ahead towards goals. You're likely to be a trend-setter in your field, embracing new methods of approaching projects and people, and breaking down barriers that stand in your path. You need to be careful that you don't push other people too far, but that you respect their limitations. As a leader you need to find the right mix of progress and stability, otherwise you could be faced with a mutiny. You may be a pioneer in an area of your life, enjoying the challenge of being the first, but you need to remember that not everyone shares your zeal.
NorthNode in the 8th House
Your North Node is in the 8th House with the South Node being in the polarity of the 2nd House. In your horoscope this is the polarity that brings the sharing of resources into opposition with personal assets. You tend to be self-made and independent, but sometimes feel that you cannot trust other people when it comes to the world of wealth and resources. You can trust your own judgment with investments and banking, but not so sure you can trust anyone else. Your challenge is to trust your own judgment enough to be open, intimate and trusting of some people, if not all. Trust, loyalty and integrity are challenges that await us in the 8th House and these are encountered through a deep emotional bond that confronts our vulnerability. The invitation of the North Node is to face this challenge of becoming deeply involved with another person, and not get fixed in the safety zone of your own assets. You are able to be generous, giving and resourceful; however your kindness and generosity may be your defence against being vulnerable. You might be asked to risk losing assets and resources in order to take a chance at loving.
Vocationally your assets are better invested in working with others and forging deep and trustworthy connections. You have an instinct for what is valuable and when you share this talent with others you find that you become even better off. Call it luck or fortune but providence has blessed you with an innate sense of resourcefulness for the purpose of helping others feels secure. Tyche, the goddess who spins the wheel of fortune, is your resourceful and kind-hearted spirit when you direct your energies towards others. Vocationally your path intersects with the spiritual, emotional and financial needs of others. Your ability to create wealth is a given and therefore you may be drawn to a profession in financial arenas such as stock market and futures trading, investment banking, and mortgage broking.
Chiron in 7th House
With Chiron setting in your Horoscope you are vulnerable to being drawn to individuals who need help. Whether they are marginal, displaced, wounded or despairing you find refuge for them in your heart. In Greek myth Chiron’s home was the training ground for disenfranchised youths who were orphaned and homeless due to the demise of a parent or because a tyrant claimed their home. Chiron himself was homeless, knowing how it felt to be abandoned and left, therefore was highly empathetic to the refugees who sought shelter in his care. A theme of displacement and being a refugee underpins this placement.
However, it was also in Chiron’s cave-home where the young learnt to be heroic, rising above their misfortunes to find their calling and become a champion. A pattern of fostering those who may be wounded or abandoned is your legacy. With Chiron in your 7th House it is important that the roles of helper, healer or administrator do not eclipse being an equal partner. You might need to learn the balance between being a helper and a partner, and hold the tension between your urge to help others and your own needs.
You may seek a mentor or healer in a relationship, being drawn to individuals who appear wise and caring. Yet underneath they might be damaged in their ability to relate to you on a personal level. Or you may be prone to recreating your role of healer and helper in your partnership by administering to your partner’s wounds. Therefore it is necessary to reflect on equality and exchange in the relationship as the astrological pattern suggests that you may be prone to confusing helping with partnering.
Perhaps the fate of Chiron in your 7th House suggests that the earlier wounds of not belonging or the primitive feelings of abandonment emerge in an adult relationship to be healed. Hence early feelings of marginality may arise in your relationship to challenge you with finding your place in relationship and a sense of belonging. No doubt Chiron in your 7th House brings feelings of marginality and wounding into adult relating. Wherever Chiron is in the Horoscope it locates where the heroic act needs to be applied. Therefore you are confronted with healing your feelings of exclusion and marginality in relationship. This is done through relating to a gentle partner who helps soothe your sores and allows you to belong to a system where you do not feel excluded or excommunicated. Your healing journey begins in relationships. No wonder you are an inspired counsellor, a helpmate and a healer of relational scars. Your kindred spirits know the pain of exclusion. That is why they embrace and love you as they recognise that you belong to their tribe. Like a true hermit your kindred spirits are on the outskirts, not at the centre of your community.
Nodes
NorthNode in Aries
You have the North Node in Aries and the South Node in Libra, which suggests that a sense of fair play and cooperation is inborn. Social skills, diplomacy, mediation expertise and competence in dealing with others are well developed and need to be used on your path; however, you need to focus on your individual goals in order to feel fulfilled at work. Being involved with others is natural for you, therefore becoming more self-focused adds to the quality and depth of every relationship. Since you have a tendency to avoid altercations or putting yourself in confrontational situations you may compromise your own desires leaving you feeling angry and unfulfilled. It is important to recognise that your difficulty in putting yourself first actually fuels the tension between yourself and others in your workplace. Therefore it is important to know that co-workers appreciate decisiveness and clarity. Ironically you are complimented and supported when you take the lead, as those around you know they can count on you to do the right thing by everyone.
At the South Node, the Libran scales remind us of the sign's propensity towards judgement. Psychologically this is the path of discovering how to value and appreciate through comparison with others. Through judgement you weigh up your options and possibilities. Vocationally this instinct to judge can be utilised in professions where arbitration, a keen perception or clarity of thought is important. Libra also has skills at conflict resolution, negotiation, relating and communication, therefore suits professions which involve personnel recruitment, adjudication, political negotiation, counselling, consulting and judging. You are fulfilled when you can negotiate a truce, resolve an awkward situation or introduce the right person into the right situation. It is this instinctual counsellor and mediator that need to be used in your vocation in an entrepreneurial and active way. While you like people you may work best on your own; although you are other-orientated you need to consider your own opinions first. While you like to be in accord with others you are called on to be identified for your personal thoughts and ideas. This is part of the paradox of your vocational quest and to leave the herd you need to confront the displeasure of offending others.
A conscious effort needs to be applied to forge a sense of independence and entrepreneurial skills. Risk taking, adventure and initiative need to be developed to ensure success. You need to dig deep to find the inspiration and courage to support your own goals and strike out on your own to find the space where you are surrounded by like-minded colleagues and workers. Your destination is more self-governing and self-determining than you may have ever imagined, and in order to fulfill this you need to rescue your aptitude to relate to others.

It would be unusual for you to go without comforts. Even a camping trip may involve the latest equipment guaranteed to ensure comfort. You also get plenty of chances to expand your mind, whether this be through the experiences of your lifetime or through study in an academic institution. You're likely to shine in your studies, eventually making an inspirational teacher if you choose this path. You may be surprised by the number of people who have been impressed by your attitude, to the extent that they have felt inspired to change their own lives. When the energies of the Angel of warrior spirit and the Angel of Primordial Energies meet, you can expect lots of action! On the one hand, you have the full power of the confessor, and on the other you have the power of punishment. Sounds grim! However, these two Angels are all about showing you the path of personal integrity. They don't just suggest it, they reveal the path of integrity in pictures, words, feelings, and spiritual inspiration.
Naturally, you have a fabulous imagination. You perceive the past, present, and future as a seamless, integrated whole. You can write powerful drama, fiction, or poetry. Your capacity for artistic expression in music, painting, or sculpting can develop if that is where your interests lie. In focusing on Michael and Tamiel, you find you can imbue all your activities with sparkle and glamour that act like magnets for the imaginations of the people around you.
You have skill in communication about feelings and needs reveals itself in your persona. You can counsel others through peer counseling, training in psychology or psychiatry, religious vocation, or spiritual channels. Your intuitive capacity grows as you focus on the Angelic energies available to you.
You sometimes experience poor judgment when you don't think things through carefully. This is an area where meditation allows you direct access to the support of your Angels. Yoga is another good way to coordinate mind and body so that your thoughts are clear and powerful.
As you work with Angelic presence, you find that any former tendency toward wrong thinking is replaced by thoughts of compassion. No longer ruminating on supposed wrongs from others, you find yourself experiencing the spiritual power within them. Then you choose Right Speech to encourage them to express that power more clearly.
Mercury Soft Saturn
The planet Mercury is making favourable contact with the planet Saturn in your birth chart indicating that you've good intellectual abilities. Your mind is contemplative and profound, capable of concentration and comprehension. Therefore you're likely to shine in pursuits such as study, writing, publishing, lecturing, teaching, travelling, diplomacy, and business. You may be particularly interested in science, politics or medicine. You're fortunate to have good judgement and reasoning powers, as well as an excellent memory. You may have had difficulty expressing yourself as a child, but as an adult you're able to speak your mind in a logical and methodical manner. The saying "older and wiser" certainly applies in your case. You're a sensible person, able to make careful plans and carry them through to completion. Depending on other aspects in your chart you're more likely to take a traditional path in your education, rather than explore unchartered territory. The steady approach to education and communication suits you. You've the ability to become a voice of authority in your field of expertise, particularly a field which requires business acumen, good communication skills and common sense. In other words, you're capable of achieving whatever you set your mind to.
Mercury Hard Neptune
The planets Mercury and Neptune are forming a difficult pattern in your chart suggesting that your mind is sometimes confused causing you to suffer setbacks and delays in your education and communication with other people. At times you're vague, lacking concentration and resolution. It's possible that you've spent many hours day-dreaming, lost in a world of thoughts and ideas which seem to have amounted to very little. This is partly because you lack the ability to make decisions, doubting your own abilities and relying too heavily on the influence of other people. It could also be a result of your lack of self-control. On a positive note other influences in your chart, or the development of self-discipline, can help you achieve your dreams. If this is the case then you're likely to express your thoughts in an artistic or creative manner. This could be through art, poetry, literature, story-telling, or music. It's possible that you possess genius in one of these fields. You're also likely to excel in medical or spiritual circles, where your heightened sensitivity to other people can be truly appreciated. You're more likely to follow an unconventional, rather than orthodox, path if you become involved in medicine. This is because you're attracted in psychic and spiritual phenomena. In fact you may possess psychic gifts. You may also enjoy reflective periods near the water, or with nature.
Mercury Hard Pluto
The planets Mercury and Pluto are combined in your birth chart suggesting that your education and communications are coloured with highs and lows. On the positive side you've a probing mind and the ability to assess situations rapidly, which can lead to success in your studies. You're likely to excel in any education process which requires research and intense work. It's also likely that these gifts will help you excel in any professional or personal situation which involves counselling or crisis work. Your insightful mind proves invaluable in such situations. You enjoy investigating mysteries and probing for hidden truths. Although you can be secretive by nature, you find it difficult to appreciate other people's need for privacy. You feel impelled to uncover any secret, be it personal or societal. Fortunately you also know how to keep secrets. It's likely that you've learnt to rely on your own judgement from an early age. Perhaps a threatening environment, at home, in your neighbourhood, or at school, meant that your instincts were a vital means of survival. It could also have been a crisis, ranging from a traumatic change of school or a death, that led to your ability to see situations clearly and honestly. The gifts can be used to benefit your adult life, and other people. However, problems are likely to arise because of your inability to see the lighter side of life, and to accept that occasionally you might be wrong! You are a deep thinker with wonderful powers of concentration, but you can become obsessive, seeing only innuendos and subtleties in communications, rather than the bigger and often brighter picture. This obsessive side of your nature means that you also tend to believe that others are opposed to your thoughts and ideas, when perhaps they're not. You need to battle to overcome your tendency to create conflict and then seek revenge in such situations. If you believe that you're losing sight of the plot, then seek advice from a trusted friend or colleague. You are at your most powerful when using your insights for positive purposes. In particular your honesty and insights can be useful in a counselling situation, but be careful of taking these talents out of the consulting room unless invited to do so. Friends and loved ones may not always appreciate your ability to get straight to the point, particularly if they're feeling vulnerable or emotionally distraught. You need to learn tact and diplomacy and sensitivity to other people's pain. Your gifts, combined with compassion, make you a powerful advocate in any field.
Mercury Hard Uranus
The planets Mercury and Uranus are making unfavourable contact in your birth chart indicating that your education and communications with other people are fraught with difficulty. Although you've an active and intelligent mind, you've so many original thoughts and ideas that you find it difficult to express them. This is true for your verbal and written communications. You also have trouble concentrating for long periods of time, needing the stimulation of constant change and new topics of interest. For these reasons you're likely to encounter problems in your early childhood education, particularly if you attend a school that has a traditional approach to education. You're more likely to shine in an education system which encourages independent and free thinking. At any age you're likely to react to authority figures, showing a defiant and audacious attitude. Perhaps you don't realise that you've a tendency to thrust your own radical thoughts and ideas onto other people, without listening to their own opinions. You wilfully defend your right to have different views and can fail to appreciate other people's points of view. You need to learn to respect all forms of communication and thinking. You don't mean to be thoughtless, it's simply that you're so often restless in your search for stimulation. One of your major struggles in life is with discontentment. In fact you may be ahead of your time in your thoughts, ideas and opinions. With a little patience and tolerance, you'll be successful in helping others understand your unique and innovative ideas. Writing, publishing, advertising, science, astrology and electrical affairs may all be of interest, although any unusual subject will catch your attention.
Venus Soft Jupiter
"Lucky in love and money". This could be your personal motto because the favourable planets Jupiter and Venus are combining to shine good fortune on your relationships and finances. You're fun loving, generous and popular. With your sympathetic and kind nature, you've a talent for putting other people at their ease. You're optimistic and talented, full of joie de vivre. Therefore you're likely to be surrounded by supportive friends, and many potential life partners. You're seeking a relationship with someone who will expand your horizons, perhaps even joining your travels around the world. You love to share adventures, philosophies and goals. Other influences in your chart may indicate that you prefer to keep the home fires burning, but it's more likely that you seek adventure and romance with your partner.
Mars Soft Jupiter
Your friends have difficulty keeping up with you because the planets Mars and Jupiter are combining to give a boundless source of energy. On the whole you're a lively and resourceful person, who delights in good health and keeping busy. Any course of action is entered into with confidence and determination to succeed, which you're likely to do. You're always ready to help those who will help themselves, but you've no qualms about leaving behind those who are determined to rest on their laurels. You certainly know how to get yourself and other people motivated, and can make a good leader or manager. In fact you're quite ambitious, not afraid of tackling big projects. Others may think that you've taken on more than you can handle, but you usually prove them wrong. You're generous, self confident and lucky, with a tendency to go where angels fear to tread. You're also courageous, approaching life with gusto regardless of the consequences. You may be particularly keen to travel, enjoying the stimulation of visiting other venues. You could direct your energy to achievement in sports, politics or travel. Your only problem will be suffering from "burn-out" because you don't know when to stop and rest.
Saturn Hard Neptune
The planets Saturn and Neptune are combining in your chart suggesting that you've difficulty achieving your career ambitions. It's likely that you're a highly creative individual, but that you either lack the confidence to follow your true path, or the ability to make your dreams a reality. This doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't successful in your career, but rather that something is missing. It could be that you're dissatisfied with your career choice, because you're not following your true vocation. It's also possible that you enjoy your work, but aren't being paid well, which leads to frustration and disappointment. No matter how much other people urge you to stand up for your rights, you believe that you're not in a position to do so. The problem may be that you've difficulty stepping back and appropriately assessing all of your options. You lack the confidence to pave your own professional path, afraid to leave the security and comfort of your current job, or you're too busy chasing rainbows to manage your career. At some stage in your life you're forced to learn to believe in yourself, to find the right mix of creativity and practicality. Once you've made steps along this process you gain the confidence to continue. Like a child learning to walk for the first time, you're soon off and running.
Saturn quincunx Neptune
With Saturn Quincunx Neptune, adjustments in your life are mediated by the Angels Kafziel and Tamiel. Kafziel is the Angel of memory, solitude, and tears. Together these Angels put you on the path of personal integrity as surely as you follow one thought with another.
Your slow growth of understanding could be seen as a weakness. However, your path is one of steady, almost certain forward progress. You analyze and consider each decision and each new idea. In this way every step is firm and solid, not tentative or half-hearted.
Intelligent activity becomes part of your nature. Intelligent activity involves the skillful use and application of knowledge, so you must first gain knowledge before you can apply it effectively. Kafziel and Tamiel work in concert in your life by first supplying the means to learn, and then aiding your mind through dreams or visualizations of how to use the information you have gained.
As you allow your Angels into your life, you gain the capacity to maintain hope in the face of seeming disaster. You discover that even in the most difficult circumstances, you have Angelic protection, and you can find a way to work your way out of the problem.
These Angels help you learn how to manage pain. When you or someone else experience severe physical or emotional pain, your Angels provide the means for relieving its severity, as well as providing the path to resolving it altogether.
Zadkiel and Tamiel provide dreams to help you through life's difficulties. You have tenacity of spirit, and your Angels support its use. Sometimes you will have a conscious idea, and you work step by step to make that dream a reality. Other times dreams provide very direct messages about your life. Either way, your mental strength is a special ally throughout your life.
Saturn Hard Uranus
When you're not rebelling against authority, or anyone who tries to curb your individual rights, then you're able to succeed in achieving your ambitions. However, the combination of the planets Saturn and Uranus indicate that you're likely to sabotage your own success through wilful behaviour. You need to overcome your wayward tendencies, and learn to compromise, otherwise your career suffers. On a positive note you're independent, resourceful and self-motivated, all of which enable you to eventually achieve success in whatever you turn your mind to. You may discover that you've natural abilities in the fields of science, mathematics, business organisation, industry and metaphysics. It's likely that you'll succeed in any career that utilises your gift for blending the old with the new.
Uranus Soft Neptune
The planets Uranus and Neptune are combining in your chart suggesting that your creative urges are strong. You enjoy exploring new territory, either through studying or travelling and your talents may lie in writing, healing, social welfare, healing or spiritual fields. You may be keen to explore metaphysical matters, perhaps even belonging to a secret society or a group dedicated to global healing, charity or spirituality. Your psychic abilities and intuition are likely to be heightened, and this may help you explore your creativity.
Uranus sextile Neptune
With Uranus Sextile Neptune, your life is enriched with opportunities presented by the Angels Zadkiel and Tamiel. Zadkiel is the Angel of Death, and Tamiel of Dreams. Together they extend your understanding of the nature of life and its limits. They also reveal the many ways you can change your life through skillful action.
You have a natural love of ritual. You find, when you think about it, that ritual pervades everything you do. You get along with other people very well because you observe the steps of ritual, entering into each conversation, activity, or association according to socially or culturally defined rules, and in so doing you put other people at ease without undo fuss or bother.
You can develop subconscious talents through conscious expression. In concert with your Angels, you express little pieces of your subconscious awareness in conversation or action. As you do this, you affirm your less conscious abilities and honor them and your Angels. Then your mind is better able to provide ideas and feelings to aid your work.
Inspired idealism may not be what you think you have been looking for, but you are certain to find it eventually. Your Angels send you dreams and ideas all the time, and you have only to pay attention to them. Your idealism provides a foundation for you to help others who experience major disasters or transformations in their lives. When you or others experience loss, your Angels are ready and willing to lift you up.
A potential weakness is the lack of stamina. Physical exercise to build lung capacity and muscle strength is well worth the effort. The physical strength you gain provides a foundation for emotional and spiritual strength.
For mental strength, meditation or yoga provide an organized practice. Kundalini yoga provides a medium for mental focus as well as physical exercise, building all the structures you need to support your developing psychic awareness.
Another possible weakness of structure could lead to high blood pressure and its associated ailments. The above mentioned exercise, meditation, and yoga all serve to reduce blood pressure and strengthen the system so as to avoid dangers of stroke and heart ailments.
Heightened psychic states including clairvoyance are the norm for this combination.
Neptune Soft Pluto
The planets Neptune and Pluto both move slowly through the zodiac, and therefore any connection between the two planets affects birth charts for a short period of time. You were born in such a time. This combination in your chart means that you're interested in opportunities to bring about fundamental change to human values. You are aware of injustices in society and, depending on other influences in your chart, may prefer to fight against them rather than sit back and accept the ills of society. Your creative urges may be linked to politics, or expressing your political views through the arts or spiritual or charitable organisations.
Neptune Sextile Ascendant
This planet progresses very slowly throughout your lifetime. Therefore you are likely to have this aspect in your birth chart. This progression may emphasise your urge to express the intuitive and artistic side of your personality.
Pluto sextile Neptune
With Pluto Sextile Neptune, your life is enriched with opportunities presented by the Angels Metatron and Tamiel. Metatron has been called the King of Angels and the Chief of the Ministering Angels. This Angel is thought to be the pillar of fire the Jews followed in their exodus from Egypt. He is a certain link between you and the divine. Metatron's association with Tamiel, the Angel of Primordial Energies, is extremely powerful.
You undoubtedly experience supernatural events and conditions during your life. Your Angels provide this resource and can help you refine it. Psychic impressions and intuition become second nature to you after a while. You learn to act on intuition in much the same way you would act on advice from your accountant.
One facet of the path of personal integrity for you involves purification of your soul. This means elevating your thoughts above petty jealousy and anger. While you may never overcome negative thinking entirely, working with your Angels will lift you up, step by step, to thoughts of compassion and love. Love overcomes fear and compassion overcomes hatred.
One possible expression of this aspect of your birth chart is that you have at least one extrasensory ability. At first you may experience some confusion in interpreting psychic and intuitive information as it comes to you. You are likely to overcome this confusion once you develop the necessary comprehension of your abilities and thus develop your psychic skills. Meditation each day allows your Angels to contact you more directly to help in this area.
You have the power of a storyteller combined with the wisdom of a seer. You could write fiction or dramatic scripts, and your poetry can become the liquid fire of inspiration and soothing balm for the soul.
Chiron square Venus
Everyone, male and female, has a feminine side; an anima or animus. With Chiron square Venus, there is a lot of pain deep within connected with this part of our nature. Any aspect between Chiron and Venus shows that there were major issues dealing with your sexual role, and/or your relationship with members of the opposite sex. When this aspect expresses negatively, it can be the most extreme case of being unable to deal with one’s own anima or animus as the case may be.
Perhaps you were if a male ridiculed for your feminine side as a child. Or perhaps you were not allowed to indulge in it. (I’ve seen, for example, cases where a male child was discouraged from doing things like painting, or enjoying poetry, made to feel these were ‘not appropriate’ for boys.) Another possibility is the other extreme, that you were judged for being too male, having too much ‘testosterone’, so to speak.
The healing begins when you embrace your feminine side, and find a way to balance it with your masculine side, bringing about wholeness. When the wound is really intense, I have seen some males with extreme ‘macho’ behaviour along with a lot of difficult relationships, and other males going in the exact opposite direction, becoming super-feminine and still having trouble with relationships.
This aspect does give you a completely unique taste in the arts, such that it could lead you to create a whole new style or school of art, if you express the artiste within you. You find beauty in objects others may overlook, look down on, or close their eyes to. When it comes to personal value systems, yours is distinctly unique. Many people with this aspect follow their own path privately within society; others leave society altogether. For some there arises a personal imperative to show society where and how it is wrong to teach others about false values versus true values.
Chiron square Mars
With Chiron square Mars, you have a deep wound that makes you feel the need to fight. How it manifests, what battles you choose depends first of all on how much you have been able to heal. For the need to fight was brought on very young, perhaps because you felt unjustly accused of something, perhaps because it was the only way to get what you felt was rightfully yours, perhaps because you felt attacked. In any case, there are some very deep wounds here, and a lot of pain and pent up anger (or even rage).
Whatever the causes, the Houses these two bodies fall in on your chart will show where some of your greatest battles come from in life. The sign Mars is placed in will describe your fighting style, while the sign Chiron is in will describe the type of situation that make you feel like fighting. And one way you can tell that you are experiencing pent up anger from the old wound is if someone ‘touches your buttons’, and the anger you feel seem way out of proportion to what the situation should warrant. You need to work on this anger, find avenues to release it (sports, for example, or chopping wood, or other physical activity, or therapy), and as difficult as it may seem, learn to forgive those who hurt you. You don’t have to forget to heal, but you must find a way to forgive.
As you heal from your wounds, you feel motivated to go all out to fight for those less fortunate, or for those oppressed. But until you have begun the healing path, this fighter instinct may simply manifest as a strong feeling that you can improve your life by fighting. Some situations warrant fighting, of course, but healing for you is also learning how to choose your battles, and choose when not to fight.
There are major lessons to be learned here about your masculine side (whether you are male or female, you have both an anima and an animus), which hopefully, you have learned a good bit from during early life experiences. If not, there may develop an overpowering need to assert the self, to the point that the over compensation distorts the lifestyle.
One of the major lessons that you must learn is to be adaptable, to try new methods when they come along, to experiment. Somehow, you were deeply wounded in a way that made you feel you needed to stick to a particular method of doing things, or at the very least, there is a fear of going in to uncharted waters.
So the lesson is that there are definitely times to go off in new directions, and when you learn this, the healing has begun. Some learn it early in life while others apparently never learn it.
Until the lesson is learned, the following is a common sequence of events: you find some method that works, some plan of action, but then tend to use it continually, getting into a rut (habit). After this goes on for a while, Chiron comes along and throws a wrench into the process, the success formula doesn’t work anymore, or it produces negative results. When this occurs, you may fall down, and fall hard! Even when you don’t actually fall, you are definitely thrown off-balance, and must reorient yourself. At this point in time, depending on how you have evolved past the wound, you will usually choose one of three alternatives.
1. Make an adjustment, and then go back to some routine method of doing things. If this approach is chosen you will once again have to go through the same process in the future, repeating each time that you refuse to learn. Eventually, this repetitived stress can have an influence on the health, producing stress-related ills.
2. Learn part of the lesson. If this is the case, you learn the virtues of trying new methods, new ways of doing things, but not the ‘why’ of the lesson. You might begin to revel in each new method. You may seek out and try to experience every new act that can be found, every new experience and sensation that exists, perhaps even inventing brand new ones. If you continue along this course you will still be confronted with Chiron throwing a wrench into the act, but you will see it as just one more new experience, or as a temporary setback. Continued long enough, there is a danger of going to excess with destructive results.
3. You rise above your past wound, and learn to be adaptable. You learn to try new things, and learn to discriminate, so that you also know when the old methods are still valid. You use new ways of doing things when the time is right. You thus build up a broad repertoire of methods and experiences to draw upon, and will be seen by others as extremely resourceful and multi-talented. Should you turn this great personal energy towards helping others, you will find a knack for coming up with the right solution for each individual’s problems, and often have uncanny insights into what makes people tick. You welcome each new experience, seeing it as a means, not an end.
Chiron quincunx Jupiter
Those who have this aspect, through time, grow to have a deep understanding of the many levels of other people’s thinking, some extremely subtle. You also learn to tune in to the belief systems of others and work with them, even if you are of an entirely different mindset.
Expressed in a negative fashion, this aspect can lead you to use their own beliefs to manipulate others and shape the ideals of others. But if you follow that path you will experience serious crises of faith.
This aspect is excellent for teachers, as it gives the ability to project understanding and comfort. There is also promised the ability to transform the ideas of others into much more positive expressions.
People with this aspect often feel that they are beyond traditional rules and traditions in matters of growth and expansion. This allows you to grow without inhibitions and achieve truly great heights, or manifested more negatively, you may go to extremes in disregard for structures, to the point of being considered totally unscrupulous by others.
This aspect enables you to develop great resources, even in the material realm, but you must be wary of the temptations inherent in going beyond the rules.
Chiron opposition Uranus
Between 1952 and 1989 Chiron exactly opposed Uranus forty-one times, and was in orb of opposition for just about everyone born during those 47 years. Thus, it is more of a generational influence than an individual one.
Historically, you can see that this aspect is tied into the accelerated pace of scientific advancement during the second half of the Twentieth Century. Actually, one of the problems is that science is making discoveries faster than they can be integrated into society; even faster than proper safeguards can be devised for our protection from side effects and from the discoveries themselves.
This same ‘vibration’ is, in many ways, a part of the nature of individuals who have this aspect. There is a thirst for the new, for discovery, for experiences, that often outweighs the taking of any precautions. Others dare not try to curtail your freedom, the consequences may not be pleasant. The urge for independence can be so strong that it can create difficulties in relationships. The only relationships that truly last for someone with this aspect is one where each person is given a lot of space to be themselves, in truth, it is difficult to find someone sufficiently secure to give a partner that much freedom. It does give a real spirit, though.
The wound of the whole generation, though, can be summed up in the words, ‘fallen heroes’. For thousands of years, people had heroes to worship, people to look up to as almost godlike. But this generation has seen all of its heroes fall, or show very unheroic sides, or in one way or another, prove they are just like everyone else. As a result, your generation has had a wound that each person must learn to heal in his/her own way, but the lesson is to become one’s own hero to become the person you would like to look up to and respect.
Chiron square Sun
You are person who truly wants to change the world in some way, although you may or may not ever do anything about it. This urge stems from something very subjective, your wound has forced you to go through at least one, but usually several major changes in your self-image and sense of purpose. Any Chiron square throws the other body off balance, and often, so that the person must make time to re-establish the balance.
Most likely, the wound stemmed from your relationship with your father, or other male role model. Perhaps you never could understand what your parent expected of you, what they expected you to be or how they wanted you to behave, and so no matter what you did, you never received their approval to help you feel good about yourself. Or perhaps you were made to feel that you had to stay in the background, that your parent was much more important than you. No matter what, you developed into an adult with a poor sense of who you are and your potential. And as a result you became a searcher, trying to find your true self, your calling, your ultimate purpose, never feeling completely sure you are on the right path.
Once you have learned to leave a sense of ‘ultimate purpose’ open to change, and have learned that your self-image must be allowed to adapt through new circumstances, you then begin to thrill in self-discovery and in discovering more about the universe. At the same time this process goes on, you should begin to want to do something for the world in some way to correct an imbalance, open a door, teach, research.
NOTE: Some people never do accept change and are forced to cope with one disruption after another. If you continually fight the healing growth of Chiron, this aspect can become a symbol of feelings of persecution, as you nearly always see the disruptions as coming from external forces.
