But the flip side is that you are extremely vulnerable to being easily hurt, your love is given without strings or expectations, and perhaps without any defenses at all. Until you learn to value yourself, however, you may find yourself in abusive relationships, or codependent, or placing your partner on a pedestal.

Another expression of Venus conjunct Chiron is a life quest for what is real, valuable, and truly worthwhile in life, a quest for true beauty and value. This can lead you to disregard society’s values, or to try to select what is worthwhile out of all the fake values around. As you do this you may acquire a set of personal values that does not quite fit with those of other people. Depending on the rest of the chart, you may keep this a secret, or be very open about it. The special personal values are there, no matter whether hidden or displayed.

You also have a desire to understand what makes the real world tick; the laws governing material things. It is an excellent aspect for a scientist, for it seems that Venus is not passive when in this aspect. Chiron is trying to uncover as much about Venus as it can.
