On a positive level, this aspect can give you the strength to triumph against seemingly impossible odds. It makes you a fighter for your principles and you can have very strong principles.

No one, nor anything, is going to stand in your way when you are striving for some goal. On some level you likely perceive life, or at least part of it, as a war between what is, and what should be, and are convinced that what should be is the winning side.

If you have not worked your way through your wounds, however, the negative side can manifest and you can be quite ruthless in your methods, believing, ‘The end justifies the means.’. If other aspects also point in this direction, you can become a truly dangerous foe to anyone who stands in your way. There is a tendency with those who have this aspect to become totally convinced of being right on some issue, and then become closed off from any information that points to the contrary. But, as in all Chiron aspects, if you go too far along this line, drastic events will come along to shake your closed world. The normal reaction is one of two things: Either to pull the walls more tightly around self, and thus begin to see others as enemies, or to recognize that no human being can ever know all the facts on any subject. There is duality in everything. Any illness, discomfort, or mental aberration reflects one side of a polarity. On the other side you can find health, sanity, and satisfaction. Love casts out fear, for example. Pain can instill compassion. Emotional healing occurs when you go through your suffering instead of denying it. Angelic greetings traditionally have included the words, 'Fear not,' because the removal of fear from your consciousness creates suitable conditions for healing.

Physiology mirrors consciousness. As you learn the subtle connections between your belief, thoughts, and feelings and the physical body, you begin to see how positive, optimistic, creative thoughts produce healthy feelings, while negative, destructive, pessimistic thoughts create feelings of illness. You retain your free will, but your Angels create a condition in which you can more readily choose the enlightened path toward greater wellness.

Meditation is beneficial for you because it allows you time for yourself. As you calm your mind, you begin to perceive the sound and sights and sensations that exist around you all the time. Focus on your breath or on an object helps you gain a sense of space in which your healing can occur easily. Your Angels provide a bridge from your current state to one of greater intuitive understanding of wellness in your life.

Chiron trine Sun

One does not usually think of a trine as related to a conflict, but Chiron changes the dynamics. In fact, with Chiron trine the Sun, there is an internal fight going on.

When you were little, people around you made a big deal about knowing yourself, knowing what you were going to do. Perhaps you were reprimanded for not having clear goals, or not knowing yourself; perhaps others tried to force their expectations upon you. In any case, there is a wound here that caused you, at an early age, to come to a firm conviction about who you are and what you are going to do. The problem is that you also tend, with this aspect, to be resistant to change as if you must hold your present self-image at any cost.

Chiron does not allow complacency, or ruts, nor does it allow a person to remain resistant to change. What happens is that, until you have begun to heal, you will periodically experience new aspects of yourself from areas that you thought you knew completely.

If you remain entrenched in your self-image, these new aspects tend either to become repressed (and then work on subconscious levels) or warped to fit in with the self-image that already exists. Once either of these things occurs the process can snowball as more insights are likewise repressed or warped. You can see the danger of continuing this process for long periods of time..

And if you refuse to grow, refuse to explore new worlds that open up before you, holding on tightly to a very limited definition of purpose, the personal world will become less fulfilling, and realistic.

The healing begins when you accept that you have much more potential than you ever allowed yourself to admit, and when you admit that any self-image you have is only temporary, subject to change as self-learning reveals more of who you are, and what you can become.

This aspect does give you a unique gift, a sense of wonder about life. There is usually also a love of all the surprises life can bring, although (until you begin to heal), you may not be too happy with unexpected surprises in your own world. This wonder is contagious, you can bring it to other people just by being near them. You have the ability to portray this wonder creatively, through art or writing. Chiron quincunx Mercury

Quincunx is the aspect of adjustment, and when connected to Chiron, it shows there was a deep wound related to others’ expectations of you. Mercury is the logical mind, and with this aspect, it seems other people expected you to look for another way to see something, an alternative way to analyse the situation and when you did not do so to their satisfaction, you were criticized, or judged as wanting; or perhaps what was expected of you was to come up with more answers, or to find entirely different types of answers to questions. In any event, there is a wound here when it comes to how you think, how you communicate, with a feeling you are not going to be ‘right’ unless you change your thinking, or cover more territory, or see on more levels.

Positively, this aspect does give you the ability to perceive many different levels going on in a situation at the same time. People who have this aspect perceive both the obvious and the more subtle processes as well. When solving problems your mind weaves in and out among the different levels, discovering and connecting ideas and events that one-track thinkers never discover!

Negatively, you can see too many levels, too many features, and sometimes so much that it cannot be sorted out. Too much information can be as bad as not enough. This aspect is very good to have if you are working to help others become more realistic, once its lessons have been learned. The search on many levels for information is natural, creative, BUT, you must learn to discriminate, sort out what you find, and not just accept everything.
