For you people, the search is on for some version of true reality, something beyond what the world around you perceives as the way things are. You do not accept the idea ‘this is the way things must be’, unless it comes from what you conceive as an indisputable source. And of course it is very rare that you can find such a source, all people being human/fallible, after all.

This aspect seems to work as almost a compulsion to seek truth, to seek the answers to whatever questions or problems you are concerned with. As a result, you can become extremely knowledgeable on a great many subjects, most especially, on the one particular topic that is your quest. On a negative level, you can become the very thing you cannot easily accept in others, you can come to consider yourself as an indisputable source. Even if you don’t actually perceive yourself this way, you can appear to other people as though they think that way. On a more positive level this aspect almost always leads you to become a figure of respect in your field even among those who don’t see eye to eye with you.

Chiron trine Neptune

This is an aspect in effect for many people. It gives the individual a tendency to take for granted that the dreams you dream are ideals that will lead to a whole life, and may not be consciously aware of how important these dreams are to you.

If, in childhood, you were allowed to dream and express the dreams, as an adult you will feel very comfortable exploring matters of alternate realities and ideals which could slowly change the world. On the other hand, if you were told in childhood to stick to the real world, the dreams you take for granted will be just the dreams instilled in you by others. To best understand yourself, you must take time to look at your deepest dreams and decide are they truly your own, or have you just taken the dreams of others and sacrificed your own?

This aspect enables you to sojourn beyond the present world into more spiritual realms to help you heal, and it would be advisable for you to take time on a regular basis for meditation, yoga, or other transcendental activities. What you believed in as a child, became a source of wound for you. Perhaps you had to put up a wall around yourself to protect yourself from attacks on what you believed, or perhaps you had to accept certain things ‘without question’. In any event, there is pain buried beneath the surface connected with your beliefs, and how you interpret events and situations that you come across. The universe it seems, abhors any resistance to change, so until you learn to heal from your wound, you go through periods of upheaval, as traumatic events come to challenge the validity of your personal belief system. The results usually go one of two ways: a tendency to make some adaptation, but essentially to keep the same beliefs, or a realization that to grow, one must be open to new ideas, new concepts. If the first pattern is followed, there will be many more such challenges, until you learn to adopt the second pattern.

Chiron Trine Ascendant

This point progresses very slowly throughout your lifetime. Therefore you are likely to have this aspect in your birth chart. This progression may emphasise your healing abilities. You are on a quest to learn the many aspects of healing - physical, emotional and spiritual. The quotation from the Bible's New Testament Luke iv. 23. - "Physician heal thyself" - may hold special meaning. You may also need to learn when to give others the freedom to heal themselves and when to offer a helping hand.

Chiron opposition Moon

There is a deep wound when it comes to your feelings, and how you express them. Perhaps you were compared to others unfavourably by authority figures (why can’t you keep your feelings under control like so-and-so), or perhaps you were expected to show more emotion, or maybe you were berated for being too sensitive to others. No matter how the wound developed, you have a multiplicity of feelings that can threaten to overwhelm you if you let them. One of the dangers here, until you begin to heal, is that you may end dichotomizing yourself, and projecting your own feelings onto others. Then the perception may develop that those ‘others’ are the enemy, or at least, not on your side. Healing begins to occur when you learn to recognize that you have, realized how many different levels of them you are experiencing, and how each emotional incident relates to the next one.

Another side of the wound is that you were made extremely sensitive about things being ‘fair’ or ‘unfair’. When this aspect expresses positively you can be a fighter for the people; but when negative you can become a fighter against people, becoming quite defensive. In one way or another, this is the aspect of a real fighter’s instinct, which is a positive expression. When you heal, you take on conflicts more for causes, than out of defensiveness.
